Lakeside fishing cabin with boat lift for your boat! Year round water.

Year Round Water! 780 square feet cabin and perfect for fisherman, and couples. Smart TVs (living and 1 bedroom) with YouTube TV for news and sports, ROKU, wifi for streaming, updated decor, two outdoor spaces to enjoy the incredible views of Weiss Lake which include a picnic table on screened in porch, large patio with charcoal and gas grill, cornhole, ring toss, lakeside firepit. Stroll down to the well lit dock for swimming in the cove (great for kids), sunbathing and fishing. Please note this home is a mobile home with a screened in porch added. The home sits above the water and the concrete path leads down and is a bit steep, so it is not appropriate for infants or people who have knee or mobility challenges.

Bedroom #1 queen bed temperpedic on platform frame with TV and window ac unit.
Bedroom #2 twin/full bunk bed and private half bath and window ac unit.

Living room pull out queen sofa bed and window ac unit.

Home is small and cozy. Most comfortable for no more than 4 people.

Guest Access: wireless keypad and code is unique to each guest and will be provided within 24 hours of check in.
Boat/trailer parking in driveway is available. 22 ft boat will fit in driveway but it will be tight. We’ve had two small boats in driveway.

Please place all trash in the green bin at the top of the driveway. Garbage pickup will not come down the driveway.
Please place all used sheets and towels on top of the washer/dryer.
Please wash all dishes.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Under NO circumstance is the floodlight camera to be disablled.
Quiet Time for the neighborhood is 10pm- 8am. Please be considerate of the neighbors.
When not in use Oars and life jackets must be kept on the screened porch and all kayaks properly secured.

Beautiful lake, nice boat dock. We liked the area and being right on the water. The house was old but relatively clean. Our biggest issue was the lack of central air.

Perfect getaway for some R&R

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little house the last week in May. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch where we played games and listened to the rain on the tin roof. Our only complaint was it was TOO relaxing lol! The beds and couch were very comfortable. Kitchen a bit small but we managed since it was just me, my husband, and our dog. The property has lots of shade and pretty private, which was great. With so much rain, we weren’t able to enjoy getting in the water much bc it made it very cold. But we chilled on the dock as much as we could when the sun was out—love that it’s a very short walk from the porch. Hubby caught several fish too! The gas grill was very nice also; we used it a good bit. We will definitely be returning later this Summer when it’s warmer.

Fun Weekend at the Lake

Place was exactly as described. Enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. Conveniently located to restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location for small family

Nice little home with a good location near big water. Well kept and clean. Walkway to the dock is a little steep, keep that in mind if elderly. But we managed with our own knee and back issues!Very nice dock with lots of room. Good fishing spot but timing wasn’t on our side with only a few fish. But based in all the fishermen/women pulling in to hit the dock areas that we talked to, its a nice cove that normally produces. Just super windy and early in the spawn.

Weekend getaway

The property was great. It was as advertised. Nice dock to put our jet ski in and enjoy the lake. Quiet cove with quick access to big water. House was clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. We will definitely rent again.

Clean comfortable place to stay on lake

The house/trailor was nice, clean and comfortable.Met our needs. Kitchen was great for cooking meals. Kayaks were awesome, our dog loved it and the porch was great for her to stay safe and still have outdoor feeling when we were not on the dock. lake was fantastic. Front screened in porch was fantastic. Picnic table on front porch was great for eating all our meals. Needs a little TLC with floor in bathroom was soft at sink. Missing step on steps to get into lake. Owner was not aware and we let her know to get fixed.

Short family trip

While there were a few things that didn't meet our expectations, such as a mini grill, no a/c in second bedroom, needing larger cookware/more utensils, etc., they were mostly just inconveniences that we were able to work around. Luckily there was a Walmart in close proximity to get the things that we lacked. It suited our needs just fine for a short weekend trip; it was great having access to the water with a place to park our boat, and a public boat ramp a short trip away. The host was easy to reach when we needed help, and extremely accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay and then had to leave early. The place is a bit dated, and could use a couple of improvements, but nothing that deterred us from having a good time. We were happy to have found a place not too far that allowed us all to be together and enjoy some time on the water. We even had fun playing cornhole together. All in all, a good trip. Great Potential, but Not Updated

Cute older mobile home/lot with a lot of potential. Pros: Beautiful lot/view. Nice boat lift/pier. Excellent communication from owner prior to arrival. Well stocked with necessities. Quiet cove with immediate access to big water. Comfortable beds. Good AC. Cons: Much of the furniture is broken; needs replaced or repaired. Adirondack chairs on dock are about to crumble; one leaning. Leg rest for both chairs are collapsing. Not suitable for safe use. Chair on screened porch broken. Lights on screened porch would not work. Only table big enough for playing games was on that porch, so there was no way to play games at night. Sidewalk down to pier ridiculously unsafe. Comments as far back as 2021 mentions the need for a handrail, and host acknowledged need, but still nothing. Angle down is probably 30 degrees or more. This is a huge safety issue. Dishes in cabinets were dirty. Had to first wash everything we used. No TV in 2nd bedroom. Check-in instructions are in a clear sheet protector on the front of the refrigerator. One side is the check-in instructions, the other side is the check-out instructions. Upon arrival, the check-out instructions were visible. Found check-in info on back as leaving; info would have been nice to have had before/upon arrival. Floor in bathroom under vanity has a 2" drop-off, so when you step up to vanity, you feel as if you are falling through floor. Had a great time would not recommend this place without updates.

My parents have lived on Weiss Lake since the 1980s and we call it the best kept secret because very few people are aware this wonderful place even exists. I, my husband, and 11 year old son currently live in Atlanta and enjoy coming to Weiss Lake to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big City. We enjoy wakeboarding, tubing, hiking, tennis, and golf.
We enjoy traveling and use short term rentals often so we want to be able to share our place with like minded folks. Come unwind, relax, disconnect and enjoy! We welcome you!

Why they chose this property

This property will give you what you want out of visiting a lake: great location, year round water (no looking at dirt in the winter or even fall months), quiet and lovely neighborhood, water toys available so you don’t have to lug that stuff with you and worry about putting wet items in the back of your car, and plenty of parking space. Lakeside fire pit with 4 modern poly modern style chairs.

What makes this property unique

The closest boat launch is at Leesburg Landing which offers a large parking lot. Our home is less than a 5 minute boat ride and 3.5 miles driving by car.
