Nestled on a towpath along the Seine in Villers-sur-le-Roule, this timeless escape invites you to slow down. Large bay windows, a cosy bedroom, a private terrace with no overlooking neighbors, and breathtaking views of the water and surrounding nature. A bright haven to reconnect with what truly matters, in harmony with the rhythm of the seasons, the boats, and the birds. Boat trips and fishing excursions are possible in good weather. Inside, you'll find a comfortable bedroom with a large, comfortable 160x200cm bed and a dressing room, a bright living room with a smart TV and a sofa bed to accommodate up to 4 people, a shower and toilet, and a kitchen equipped with a 4-burner hob, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a Senseo coffee machine, and a small kettle. Coffee and tea pods are provided for your convenience. The accommodation includes a private, secluded terrace with a pergola, furnished with garden furniture and a hammock chair. Located near Giverny, Vernon, Les Andelys, Gisors, and a host of charming historical sites to visit, you can also enjoy cycling or walking along the banks of the Seine around the house, or on the nearby greenways... Available for both business and leisure travellers, we would be delighted to welcome you to L'Escapade! From May to October, we offer boat trips on the Seine directly from the property, for couples or families, with the option of tasting local products. We offer guided fishing trips year-round to discover the fish of the Seine! Around you, Normandy unfolds before you: Claude Monet's gardens in Giverny, the majestic Château Gaillard, the picturesque streets of Les Andelys, or the banks of the Seine surrounding the gîte, perfect for a leisurely stroll. With shops nearby, as well as opportunities for water sports in the warmer months, or for cycling, horseback riding, and boating, this gîte is the ideal starting point for a rejuvenating stay, combining nature, culture, and simple pleasures. You will find all essential shops within 5km of the gîte. (supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, tobacconist, laundromat, petrol station). PGJyPg PGJyPg Sheets/towels and tea towels are provided and changed once a week, free parking is available opposite the cottage.
