In the coastal town of Santa Pola, you can taste a variety of fish dishes in the numerous restaurants. You can also visit the old castle and castle walls, watchtowers and many archaeological findings. The lighthouse with a jetty floating on the water, the island of Tabarca and the salt lakes, where you can observe different species of birds, including the flamingo, are definitely worth a visit.
