The very well maintained detached house stands in a spacious, park-like, Mediterranean garden with many palm trees, azaleas and camellias.

It is located in a privileged, absolutely quiet and sunny outskirts of Tegna, a typical small Ticino village in the Terre di Pedemonte region, in the direction of Maggiatal / Centovalli and in the immediate vicinity of Ascona and Locarno. This place was a creative retreat for many artists.

Our regular guests enjoy the tranquility and the view of the mountains opposite Lake Maggiore on the terrace or in the garden or retire to one of the comfortable armchairs in the living room with one of the many books from the library.

The children will find after the eventual raging in the garden games and painting utensils and a rich TV program for rainy days. Of course, also free Wi-Fi. A changing mat, and a high chair for toddlers is available.

In the kitchen are for kitchen lovers numerous kitchen utensils and you can enjoy the balmy evening air with open patio doors or participate in the cooking on the terrace on the terrace.
Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity or in large numbers in Losone.
If you just want to be pampered with culinary delights, you will find a number of good restaurants in the village and the immediate surroundings,
which you can reach on foot.

If you want to swim in Tegna, then you reach the river or the wonderful lagoon in about 1 kilometer
"Pozzo di Tegna". Also the big Lido in Locarno with sandy beach, beach chairs, various pools and water slides is a welcome change.

Of course you can reach the Casa Elena from comfortable to beautiful destinations, great hiking trails and a diverse sports program.

Or stroll leisurely through the famous Swiss resorts of Ascona + Locarno with its numerous cultural events, beautiful shops, arcades, countless restaurants also on the promenade with views over Lake Maggiore, bars, ice cream parlors and the casino.

You can expect great events in Locarno such. Eg the international film festival or the music festival Moon & Stars,
as well as the worldwide renowned JAZZ Festival of Ascona and much more.
