AVOID AT ALL COSTSThis was one of the worst holiday rental experiences we’ve had. The property was in an unacceptable state of cleanliness when we arrived. There was dust and grime throughout, the walls were covered in marks and stains, and there were yellow stains on several walls. The door handle was also loose and looked as though it was about to fall off.The apartment appeared to be the host’s personal residence rather than a holiday rental. It was full of the host’s personal belongings, with dirty laundry left in the wardrobe. There was mouldy food left in both the fridge and the oven, which was unhygienic and extremely unpleasant.The bedroom wasn’t properly prepared for guests. There was no bedding on the bed, and the duvet had simply been left scrunched up rather than made. During our stay, we were also being bitten by bugs inside the property, adding to an already very uncomfortable experience.Communication with the host was equally disappointing. We struggled to get hold of her, and when we finally managed to speak to her, she ended the call abruptly instead of helping to resolve the issues.Overall, the condition of the property fell far below the standard that should be expected from a holiday rental. I would not recommend staying here.
