The cabin layout was spacious, and comfortably held our larger group for meals. I liked that it was so close to the marina. The hot water never ran out, even with multiple people showering close together. The property host was quick to respond to questions and messages. Our group as a whole was disappointed in several aspects of the cabin. The listing said 9 people could sleep there, which was the number we had. However, this meant 3 people had to share either the king bed or pull out sofa. We had several adults and tall teenagers, so this was not ideal. We also discovered ants in the kitchen as soon as we arrived. They stayed along one wall and we were able to keep our food away from them, but it was not appetizing. The porch area would have been nice to use, but there was a yellow jacket nest under one of the chairs and three members of our group were stung multiple times. The ice maker in the fridge did not work, so we had to purchase ice for our drinks and coolers. We also found that many of the cups and baking pans were dirty and not fit to use. The parking was not ideal. We parked next to the cabin, but people coming to the marina would park in front of our cars so that we could not leave. A couple of the tvs were missing remotes. One would not connect to any kind of tv service/streaming until the second day. There was a broken window in one room. For a weekend trip, the cabin worked for us. But our group agreed that we would not rent this one again.
