Clean and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location is a bit outside of the town center and further away from the beach, but there are nice dunes and a nature reserve where we enjoyed some evening walks.

Super
The apartment is comfortable, bright, very well equipped. We missed nothing during our stay. Wi-Fi worked great. The only inconvenience is the lack of a separate bedroom. The apartment is rather suitable for a family. Good location, walking distance to the beach and the center of the town of Zandvoort. Our stay there was great.

The apartment is really cool and clean, just a little bit far from city center and beach (about 20min by feet).
There is a supermarket near the apartment but no other facilities just around.
People from Smilinghost are really nice and communication very smooth.

Zandvoort F1 stay
Jacobsschelp is a perfect stay for anyone visiting Zandvoort for the F1 but doesn't want to be stuck in the town center amongst the nonstop noise. It's only a 10 minute walk to the gate.
The Apartment, was a little dated, but clean and well supplied with all the necessary amenities and very comfortable beds. The only issue we had was having only one key.
Dealing with host and the apartment owner was a pleasure and very easy. Smilinghost were quick responding to all my questions, and went personally above and beyond to help us get our Zandvoort parking pass.
The property was in a quiet neighborhood, close to beach and shopping and grocery store. We liked the kitchenette. We bought fruit and eggs for 4 breakfasts. The fridge, and pot with a stovetop saved breakfast money. A short trip to the train station made it easy to head into Haarlem or Amsterdam…. The downside was the impossibly narrow and steep winding stairway to the loft with an open staircase (no balusters) …. There is no wc in the loft so a tricky steep decent in the dark is not safe. This is not safe for small children , nor seniors with mobility issues.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsangebot
Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet.

Allgemein in Ordnung
