Baan Nam @The Hill Village | Thong Nai Pan

Enjoy peace and privacy in an authentic Thai-style house with sea views, nestled in beautiful natural surroundings.

Our house is located in Thong Nai Pan Noi, Koh Phangan, just a short walk from a stunning, quiet, and uncrowded beach, as well as the charming village nearby, offering a great selection of restaurants, bars, shops, and boutiques.

Highly recommended for peace seekers!

It is possible to prepare simple dishes or breakfast in the kitchen, or order from our delivery partners “TULA Coffee, Bar and Restaurant,” “Hacienda Happy Days Restaurant,” and “Flip Flop Pharmacy Bar.” That's Amore - Pizzeria Trattoria offers online ordering and delivery.

The number of guests is limited to four adults! We also accept more than four guests if they are part of a family and still minors.

The way / road from the house to the beach is partially quite steep and tiring in the tropical heat.

A scooter can be rented from our management.

Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai are twin coves that form a scenic double bay and are the most popular beaches in the northeast coast of the island. Both beaches are the image of paradise with softly curved white sand bays surrounded by mountains covered in rich tropical rainforest, both with a great vibe with some cool bars and restaurants, without being overcrowded. Be sure to visit the neighboring beach Thong Nai Pan Yai, which can be reached in a few minutes by scooter.

Some of our guests enjoy attending the Full Moon Party in Haad Rin. It takes about 30 minutes to get there by shared taxi. On these days, we have a shuttle service organized with Tong, our family songthaew driver. Departure times from The Hill Village are 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 10:00 PM. Return trips are at 2:00 AM, 4:00 AM, and 6:00 AM. The price is 300 Baht per person, each way.

A beautiful and peaceful oasis with an exceptional view.

My husband and I recently spent some time here with our 20-month-old and we had a wonderful stay. We were practically speechless each morning when we walked on our terrace to admire the stunning view from our house. It felt as if we were just floating amidst lush jungle overlooking the sea. Our house was also really comfortable and clean--we wished we could have stayed longer! (It was also a plus that our Internet was super fast with no issues.) The pool was also great and had a fantastic view as well. The food from the restaurant there was very nice, and the place is very child-friendly. Eed, manager of the Hill Village, was great. She was very helpful in showing us around the area and helping to fulfill any request we had, including finding medical help when our baby needed to see a doctor. The rest of the staff were also super kind and responsive as well. Everything was super easy and stress-free at this place. It's also about a 15 minute walk to town and the beach, so it's very well located. We really hope to come back.

Traumhaus mit Traumblick

Das Haus ist wirklich toll und ist mehr als gut ausgestattet. Beide Schlafzimmer haben Klimaanlage (mit night silence Funktion, d.h. das sind hochwertigere Klimaanlagen als wir sonst vorgefunden haben) und Ventilator. Im Wohnzimmer ist ein großer Ventilator. Der Platz auf der Terrasse mit der Hängematte ist ein Traum. Die großzügige Küche ist mit Mikrowelle, Wasserspender, Wasserkocher und riesigem Kühlschrank mit großem Gefrierfach (macht blitzschnell Eiswürfel), Herd, etc. mehr als komplett ausgestattet. Das Wasser im Trinkwasserspender wurde kostenlos aufgefüllt. Täglich wurde das Haus gereinigt wenn wir weg waren (hätten wir nicht gebraucht). Ja, der Weg vom Noi-Strand zum Haus ist steil, aber die Entfernung ist absolut machbar wenn man nicht total faul ist. Wir waren eine Familie mit 3 Kids und wollten keinen Roller ausleihen, da wir keine Lust auf aufgeschürfte Knie von nem Sturz hatten. Deshalb unbedingt ein Thai-SIM Karte besorgen und die Tel.nummer von Mrs. Eeds Bruder speichern. Er ist vor Ort das Taxi der Wahl und organisiert auch kleine Touren wenn man will. Er und seine Frau sind super! Im kleinen Village vom Noi-Beach gibt es eine große Auswahl an Restaurants; mir persönlich hat der Foods-Market am Besten gefallen; viele kleine Imbissbuden mit Tischen in der Mitte. Zum traumhaften Yai-Beach ist es zu Fuss leider doch zu weit. Deshalb unbedingt einen Roller mieten oder Mrs. Eeds Bruder Taxidienste in Anspruch nehmen. Wir sind von Koh Samui mit dem Tong Nai Pan-Express-Boot ab Mae Nam angereist. Kann ich bei geringem Seegang wirklich empfehlen, da man ab Hat Rin alle Buchten abklappert und einen tollen Eindruck von Koh Phanghan bekommt (Than Sadet ist ein Traum!). Man kommt direkt am Thong Nai Pan-Beach an und zum Haus ist es dann nur noch ein Katzensprung. Jeder, der auf die Livebands beim Abendessen in den Resorts verzichten kann, fühlt sich in diesem Haus rundum wohl! Die Gäste der anderen Bungalows, die gemeinsam den Pool nutzen sind auch sehr angenehm, da niemand Remmidemmi sucht, der hier wohnt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super! Die beiden Strände von Thong Nai Pan sind meiner Meinung nach eine der schönsten von ganz Koh Phanghan. Viel Spass beim Buchen, bei der Vorfreude und dann beim Erholen!

Ein kleines Paradies

Schönes sehr sauberes Haus, genau wie beschrieben. Traumhafte Aussicht, Nachts genauso wie am Tag sehr beeindruckende Tiergeräusche. Zum Meer ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg. Der Rückweg war immer etwas beschwerlich, da es sehr steil ist bis zum Haus. Ein Roller ist empfehlenswert. Die Umgebung vom Haus landschaftlich ein Traum! Ebenso die Aussicht. Ruhe und Erholung wird hier groß geschrieben. Mrs. Eed ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin und jederzeit per Whatsapp erreichbar. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!

Vue sublime.... Amazing view

Nous avons adoré notre séjour de deux semaines dans la jolie maison en bois de Walter et Jin. La maison se trouve dans le domaine de "hills village" et surplombe une magnifique baie dans le nord est de Koh Phangan. La maison est spacieuse avec ses deux chambres, sa cuisine et son salon... Mais le must, c'est la grande terrasse et sa vue sublime sur la baie. Une belle piscine à débordement complète cet ensemble où régnent paix et sérénité. Mrs Eed, qui régit le domaine avec son mari est adorable... Elle est venue nous chercher au port et nous a ramenés... S'est occupée de la location d'un scooter et prépare les repas à la demande, pour un prix modique. A quelques centaines de mètres, se trouve un petit village plein de charme avec restaurants, quelques petites échoppes et des salons de massages. Il faut cependant être motorisé car l'endroit est isolé et assez pentu. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine.

Wonderfully located house with views and amenities

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was great for our family of 3 children with the pool right there and good deck space for playing. Amazing sunrise views and fully functioning house. Whatever we needed or was missing from the house, Eed, the manager on site, was so great about providing what we needed. Was wonderful to have the restaurant on site for when we didn't want to cook (which was often, we were on vacation after all!) Beach was too far to walk and required renting a car, but we did have the small children and was easy to organize with Eed. If you are looking to stay here and cook, you would need to go to Thong Sala for supplies, as the town nearby is only good for a few basics and some fruit stands. But there are plenty of wonderful options to eat out in town, which was great!.

Beautiful place with an amazing view

We stayed at Walter & Jin's house with my friend and our two small kids for 10 days and we wish we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The house is spacious, charming and clean. And the view from the terrace is absolutely beautiful. The beach is a dream and only a 10 minute walk down the hill. Mrs. Eed and her family are very friendly and helpful. Her husband also cooks the best fresh meals if you want to eat in. We can only recommend and hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Little Village

Had a fantastic Holiday, The Accommodation was excellent we stayed in the family house as we are a family of 5, plenty of room, I would say room for 2 more.the balcony had a great view over the pool and bay. The village is small and lovely with some beautifully landscaped gardens an infinity pool which overlooks the bay. Eed is a fantastic host picking us up at the pier and letting us go for some initial supplies and an ATM, (don't need to buy bottled water as large water cooler is supplied in the kitchen.) Eed's husband is a great cook and the breakfasts and meals were of great quality, give plenty of time ordering as everything is done fresh and by themselves. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches ever with soft white sands and warm turquoise waters, Can be a hot 10 minute walk back to the village but Eed can sort a car or moped out for you at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed our stay here Than Sadet beach and its waterfall are just around the corner, great food also in town and at the beach. Thank you Eed for you great hospitality hope we get to return to your lovely village Adrian Shazma and the boys.

Dejlig strand med store bølger til tider. Gode restauranter i forskellige prisklasser. Hvis man er til mere liv og turisme er der 23 km til den vestlige side hvor der er flere tilbud.

Très belle location

Très belle maison traditionnelle en bois, spacieuse, propre et confortable. Bien située, proche de la plage et du petit village (facilement accessibles à pieds), mais au calme au milieu des cocotiers, bambous, oiseaux et écureuils. Superbe terrasse avec vue sur la baie et (pour les plus matinaux) de magnifiques aubes. Tous les services à disposition : dîners, transport ou location de scooter (n'hésitez pas à demander à Mrs Eed qui est très attentive à ses hôtes). Manquent seulement un ventilateur sur la terrasse (les nuits sont très chaudes), des moustiquaires sur les lits (quelques moustiques arrivent à se faufiler jusqu'aux chambres) et l'AC dans la seconde chambre. À recommander sans hésitation.

Wonderful island retreat

We stayed in beautiful Baan Naam for almost three weeks. Ten minutes walk from the beach and frim a choice of restaurants. With each our individual writing projects, we spent a lot of time on the terasse, working. And yes, it is possible to write while lying in a hammock... Great view, great house. Beautifully zen-like inside. Fine kitchen for making our own lunches. And great service from Mrs. Eed when the wifi was down / we needed ferry tickets / we had laundry. Or whatever. We had a fantastic - and also extremely productive - time. Only problem now is that we miss the place...

Traumurlaub an dem schönsten Strand der Insel

Die Anreise erfolgte bei Regen und der Hausverwalter Mr. Tok hat uns an der Fähre abgeholt. Perfekt organisiert. Am Ankunftsort hat er uns gleich in einen Supermarkt gefahren, bei dem wir uns eindecken konnten, mit allem, was wir für den Aufenthalt gebraucht haben. Da wir aber im Haus selbst nichts gekocht haben, haben wir nur Hygieneartikel und Getränke gekauft. Das kann man allerdings selbst am Urlaubsdomizil erledigen, hier gibt es alles - außer Lebensmittel - vielleicht ein wenig teurer als an der Anlegestelle der Fähre. Die Anfahrt zum Haus erfolgte über unwegsames Gelände, aber letztendlich wenn man das Haus erreicht, wird man erschlagen von den wundervollen Eindrücken der Natur und der absoluten Ruhe des Hauses. Das Haus ist geräumig uns sauber und hat alles vor Ort, was man benötigt. Sogar WLAN war - und das war wichtig für unseren Sohn - absolut gut verfügbar. Vor Ort war Mr. Tok nicht mehr aktiv, aber seine Tochter Iss hat uns den ganzen Urlaub über betreut. Und das in einer sehr zuvorkommenden und reizenden Art. Das Haus liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten von dem absoluten Traumstrand entfernt. Der Weg ist allerdings sehr steil. Tagsüber haben wir den Weg zum Strand und in den oft zu Fuß bewältigt, abends haben wir im Dunkeln Iss angerufen, die uns JEDEN Abend mit dem Auto abgeholt hat. Auf dem Fußweg können einem durchaus Skorpione, Warane, und anderes Getier begegnen, weshalb meine Frau in der Dunkelheit lieber mit dem Auto ans Haus gefahren wurde. Aber wenn man nicht zu schreckhaft ist, kann man das auch zu Fuß bewältigen. Im Ort selbst gibt es neben zahlreichen kleinen Restaurants, in denen man hervorragend essen konnte (zu erwähne sei hier die Job Job Bar, die Luna Lounge und das neu eröffnete Sand in my Shoes) auch viele kleine Supermärkte, Reinigungen (für 100 Bäht wurde ein KG Wäsche gewaschen und gebügelt), und alles was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Wir haben mit Iss zwei Ausflüge unternommen und dabei einiges von der Insel gesehen, weshalb man wirklich sagen kann, dass man hier am schönsten Strandabschnitt wohnt. Der oft erwähnte Bottle Beach liegt direkt neben Tong Nai Pan, allerdings liegen dort meist um die 20 Boote, die Touristen ankarren. Von Ruhe kann da keine Rede sein. Am Strand selbst sind 3 5-Sterne-Häuser, die Zimmerpreis zwischen 300 und 700 EUR die Nacht verlangen. Damit geht einher, dass man am Strand sehr viel Ruhe hat und einen traumhaften Urlaub genießen kann.Wir würden den Urlaub jederzeit wiederholen.

Perfektes Haus am einem traumhaften Ort

Wir können uns den unten genannten Kommentaren nur anschließen. Ein grandioses Haus mit einer wundervollen Aussicht an einem traumhaften Ort!!! Der Strand eignet sich perfekt zum Baden und das Dorf ist mit vielen Restaurants zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Durch den Abholservice am Pier ist die Anreise zum Haus sehr entspannt und man wird direkt herzlich empfangen. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder !

Verstecktes Traumhaus

Wer die großen Hotels meiden möchte, ein paar zusätzliche Schritte nicht scheut (10min zum Strand), eine geniale Aussicht mit viel Ruhe sucht, und preiswert urlauben möchte, ist hier goldrichtig!

Baumhaus im Urwald

Die Anreise von Thong Nai Pan Noi war - um die Worte meiner Frau zu verwenden - ' grenzwertig'. Dafür entschädigt die Unterkunft. Wir wollten nur 1 Woche bleiben, haben aber noch eine Woche verlängert - tolle Unterkunft, sauber, alles Notwendige im Haus; WLAN incl. Jederzeit zu empfehlen - nur man muss wissen, wo man wohnt, denn die Geräsche id Nacht sind nicht zu verachten :-)

Welcome to paradise

Die Häuser sind in einer Top-Lage gebaut.Der Blick über die Bucht ist unbeschreiblich schön und die Stille(die Geräusche des Dschungels)ist soooooo...wohltuend!!! Der freundliche Mr.Tok holte uns am Haad Rin Pier ab und der Urlaub fing an. Abenteuerliche fahrt zu den Häusern,ankommen,staunen und genießen!!! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und sind Abends gleich am Strand essen gegangen. Der Weg zum Strand ist easy,aber bitte nur mit Taschenlampe!!! Und zurück ,nach dem "Absacker" bei Coco,die Bar am Thongtaipan Resort... etwas anstrengender aber auch gut zu schaffen. Selbst ich als Opa(63)habe den Aufstieg gewuppt..immer mit dem Ziel vor Augen dass es dann ein kühles Singha (das hatte Tok schon für uns kalt gestellt)auf der traumhaften Terrasse gibt. Wenn man möchte,kann man sich in den Häusern gut selbst verpflegen aber ehrlich gesagt...es gibt im Dorf nur das Nötigste zu kaufen und kochen lohnt sich unserer Meinung nach kaum.. Restaurants gibt es genug und für jeden Geschmack,von Edel bis einfach!!! Geldautomat,Wechselstube,Wäscherei....alles da;-) Die Atmosphäre am Noi Beach ist relaxed,nett auch der Bottle Beach mit dem Longtail....! Weiterhin gibt es die traumhafte Nachbarbucht,Wasserfälle und Partys,nicht direkt am Noi beach aber die Taxen fahren bei Fullmoon ,halfmoon...etc. hin u zurück(hat meiner Enkelin(17) sehr gut gefallen) Auch für Taucher und Schnorcheler gibt es perfekte Möglichkeiten (z.B.:Sailrock) Wir fühlten uns bei Tropical Divers gut aufgehoben(nett und unkompliziert) Unseren letzten Tag verbrachten wir auf Koh Samui (Mae Nam) und was soll ich sagen...es war o.k.aber wir fühlten uns bestätigt , Wir wollten zurück...!!! Nicht zu vergessen ist der wunderschöne Garten und der nette Kontakt zu Bodo Fazit:Der Urlaub im Baan Lam u Nom waren ein Traum.Vorausgesetzt man liebt die Natur und kann mit sich etwas anfangen. Man hat Ruhe (durch die Lage der Häuser)aber keine Einsamkeit,in der Bucht und im Dorf ist immer etwas los.

Wir verbrachten wunderbare tage mit Ausblick auf mehr (Meer).Mein Wunsch nach einem haus ohne Airconditioning (welches trotzdem kühl ist) ohne Lärm von nebenan wurde 100% erfüllt.Der weg vom Strand zum Haus ist zwar nicht ohne, doch durchaus machbar, mit kleinen Kindern wäre ein Auto allerdings empfehlenswert.Die 7 Minuten Aufstieg lohnen sich in jedem Fall -die wunderbare Terrasse belohnt mit freiem Blick auf die Bucht über die Palmen hinweg.Der Strand ist am Morgen leer und die Beachrestaurants bieten wunderbares Frühstück. Wer will kann auch einen Ausflug in ein wirklich tolles 5stern Hotel am Strand machen...... obwohl uns war eher nach einem Sprung in den Ort: Essen köstlich, Leute freundlich,alles so wie´s sein soll.
