LIVE IN NORDIC PARIS

Clean, green and relaxed. The city of cities, surrounded by water and infused with happy lifestyle. Stormgade 10 is centrally located in the oldest and historically most exciting neighborhood in Copenhagen. With its unique location in a yard between the National MUseum's collonade and Vandkunstens Latin Quarter, the building is part of a unique city landscape. In the exact center of Copenhagen between Tivoli and Christansborg Glypoteket. The building is also close to the Central Station, Nørreport and Kgs. Nytorv. Shops in the neighborhood create a cozy Parisian atmosphere. You can do your shopping in Torvehallerne or enjoy the park surroundings in Ørstedsparken, both of which are within 10 minutes' walking distance. Everything is right outside your main entrance. Shopping, restaurants and all the shopping on Strøget as well as charming old narrow streets with unique small boutiques, bakeries, shops and cafés with outdoor sevice. The neighborhood's small shops create a cozy Parisian atmosphere.

The history of Holstein's Palace goes all the way back to 1687 when Court Marshall von Lützow laid the foundation. In the following years Court Marshall Johann Ludvig von Holstein, Conference advisor and Supreme Court Justice Christian Colbjørnsen, First Lieutenant W. H. F. A. Læssøe and Marine Officer H. B. Dahlerup have all had the Palace as their residence. Today, Stormgade 10 is protected as a national cultural inheritance because the building represents the pinnacle of Danish building culture; the best architecture and the most important cultural inheritance in history. Here is a tangible historical witness to how people have built, worked and lived in Denmark.

The downtown area is the heart of Copenhagen. This is where you will find the pedestrian street Strøget, Copenhagens shopping Mecca. The downtown area also has numerous museums and historical points of interest. Particularly The Round Tower, The Stock Exchange, Christiansborg and Nyhavn are worth a visit.

If you want to relax like a Copenhagener, enjoy a cup of coffee in the old Latin Quarter, locally known as "pisserenden" (Piss Gutter). The Latin Quarter has a number of trendy shops and pleasant cafés such as Robert's Coffee. You can also pay a visit at Tivoli, Copenhagen's amusement park, built in 1843.

Tivoli is right in the middle of downtown and is a must for children of all ages. There are also a number of gourmet restaurants in Tivoli, such as Nimb and The Paul. If you like markets and gastronomy, try out Copenhagen's market halls. They are a stone's throw from Nørreport station och carry everything from fresh fish, fruit and vegetables to gourmet chocolate and delicacies. If you need a breather, you'll find The Botanical Gardens a good place to unwind.
