The Creek House is a retro-rustic getaway with luxury lodge touches and plush amenities (including free wifi and Roku TV) – all in an ultra-private creekside setting. This peaceful, fully equipped house features design with a mountain cabin feel that takes you back to a simpler time. Plus, you’re close to all the MANY attractions the area has to offer. In fall and winter, enjoy the sounds of a warm, crackling fire and the creek rushing outside your window, and toast friends and family in style, comfort and serenity. In spring and summer, fish from your wooden bridge, have dinner on the back rock patio and sit in the cedar hot tub. It's creekside and under the stars! (We are now trying to keep the CEDAR HOT TUB operational during Late Fall/Winter season -- although we cannot never 100% guarantee it's use. It's new but can be temperamental.)

A wonderful weekend away in this cabin retreat. The creek ran high due to recent rainfall but made for peaceful sounds from rushing waters. Clean and comfortable.

Relaxing Creek Side Cabin

So peaceful and quiet- we loved being at Big Al’s Creekside Cabin. The cabin is so cozy and welcoming. The short hike to the beautiful pond was an added bonus we didn’t know about ahead of time. And the beautiful bit of snow that fell was perfect! Would love to return sometime!

New Year stay

The CreekHouse was the perfect relaxing retreat between Christmas and New Year’s. The moss-covered trail felt magical, and the sound of the creek while soaking in the hot tub was an unforgettable winter experience. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway and to bring in the new year. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing and cozy

My husband and I were hoping for a relaxing couple of days away after crazy holidays with our 3 small kids, and this place did not disappoint. The hot tub worked great and was very relaxing, we also loved the cozy fireplace. The place was extremely clean and very welcoming. We had a great time, and even faced the cold to take a walk in the woods, and WOW, beautiful and peaceful doesn't even hit the mark, as much as we wanted to take a break from the kids, we couldn't help but realize they would have a blast there as well. We'll most likely be trying to bring the kids with us in the summer for a longer stay, it looks like there is a lot to do around the area as well.

Rest & Relax

Another visit to Big Al's Creekside and as always it never disappoints. This has become my go to place for some much need rest and relaxation and what better place to do it at then Big Al's. This is my 5th visit and I never had a bad experience or any issues. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is my third visit to Big Al's Creekside Cabin and as always it was everything, I expected. Even when the power went out due to a downed tree from a rain/windstorm, it never changed the mood. If your looking for a great place to get away and relax, I highly recommend Big Al's.!!!!!

Cannot say enough about my stay at Big Al's. The place is exactly as pictured. The setting is so beautiful and the cottage so comfy and quaint, but with all the conveniences you will need. I will be going back during the summer months to enjoy the creek and hot tub. You won't go wrong vacationing at Big Al's

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the Creek House the MOMENT I saw it. We have had our ups and downs together over the years, but I am still often mesmerized by its magic. :) With the twelve acres across the bridge, it's like living in my own little national park.

What makes this property unique

One of the things I love about this place is its location. There is a not-well-traveled road that runs in front of it, but there are no visible neighbors which means LOTS of privacy!
