Perched on the heights of the hamlet of Arandas, this semi-detached family cottage for 6 people offers a warm and authentic experience, a true haven of tranquility in the heart of the Bugey region. The Amédée cottage is adjacent to the Mouton cottage (sleeps 6). Upon arrival, access via an external staircase hints at the promise of the property: a large, elevated terrace offering panoramic views of the village and surrounding landscapes, perfect for enjoying peace and quiet and the spaciousness. The entrance is via the terrace stairs. Welcome to Amédée. The fully equipped kitchen, open to the living and dining areas, creates a bright and inviting living space. The ambiance blends simplicity, comfort, and authenticity, with a functional layout suitable for all types of stays. A shower room completes this first level. Upstairs, under the eaves and exposed beams, two welcoming bedrooms await guests: one for two and another for four, both furnished with single beds—a flexibility appreciated by all. The attic atmosphere enhances the cozy and authentic charm of the cottage. Discover the activities around the cottage: on the Plateau d'Hauteville, the trails offer superb panoramic hikes, suitable for families as well as more experienced walkers. Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy the rolling roads and mountain bike trails of the Bugey region, winding through forests, along ridges, and past open vistas. Just a few kilometers away, the local heritage completes your stay: explore the typical villages of the Bugey, visit farmers' markets, taste Bugey wines, visit educational farms for children, or explore caves and natural viewpoints. On the terrace: an open-plan kitchen and living room. Shower room/WC First floor: 2 bedrooms, the first with two single beds (90x200cm) and the second with four single beds (90x200cm), two of which can be joined together upon request. WC with washbasin. A large private terrace. Shared facilities: a pétanque court and a games room shared by both cottages, with a shower and sauna (available as an option upon request to the owners). Communal parking behind the house. Travel light: everything is included. Cleaning is optional.
