The cabin is not 100% secluded. As we do have a neighbor on both sides of the cabin, there are trees between the cabins, however the trees may lose the leaves in winter. You will not be able to see the neighbor unless you are at the entrance or the back porch. The hot tub on the enclosed side porch and is blocked off by panels, so you don't need to worry about your privacy. Please be aware that the cabin is 600sq ft and is idea for couples and small groups of two adults and one-two little kids.
Please be aware that cabin may be HARD to find and MULTI POINT TURNS may be required to get in and out. You may need to pull into the neighbor's parking in order to get out depending on the size of your car.
LADY BUGS SEASON: For October through the end of November, there could be live and dead lady bugs in and around the cabin as they are flocking towards any heat they can find. Unfortunately there is not way to prevent this and it is like this in any property in East Tennessee that has a functioning heating system. Having dozens of dead lady bugs in the property DOES NOT mean that the property was not cleaned.
What we offer: 2 TVs with Roku Streaming High-speed WiFi (600mbps) Private Hot Tub Indoor Soaker Tub Wood-burning Fireplace (open Oct-May) Parking for Two Medium Cars or One Large Truck Equipped Kitchen for Cooking One King Bed and One Sofa Pull-out Bed Shampoo/Body Wash/Conditioner
Other things to note: ***Travel insurance is STRONGLY recommended especially during winter season. No refund will be issued due to the weather condition. ***The road to the cabin is narrow with incline, twist and turns. Please use caution while driving through the mountains. Follow the GPS. When you get to the destination, drive slowly to look for a driveway off the road. Driveway entrance is steep. It is a share driveway with the cabin next to us. Please make sure that you DO NOT block the driveway. We do recommend chains, snow tires or four wheel drive in the winter months. *** You are in the wilderness and may come in contact with bears, turkeys, bugs, and other critters! This is normal and while we do perform regular critter/pest maintenance, not everything can be avoided when staying in the wilderness. Please be respectful of their space in the wild. DO NOT leave food in cars and be sure to keep windows and car doors locked. ****The cabin is on well and septic. Please don't flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Well water may come out with a tint or slight smell to it. Let it run for a moment and it should clear up. This can also stain or affect the color of the toilets and hot tub. This is nothing to be concerned about as it is all natural. You can drink the water, but we recommend buying bottled water. ***Mountain WiFi: we are in the mountains so although we do have internet and streaming services (Guests login with their own account). This is the perfect place for a couples romantic get away, Cassie and Cody the hosts were amazing, answered all questions and responded in a timely manner. I would highly recommended and would book again!
This cabin was tucked away perfect, not to far away from main attractions. Peaceful and clean, very well stocked with all of your needs. Privacy was great & the hot tub and big soaker tub was a must for a couples getaway. 10/10 recommended & we will return!
The house was extremely clean and in well condition. It was perfect for a day in with my girlfriend and even the hot tub was one of the nicest we’ve seen. The host was very available and it felt like our little slice of Heaven. If we happen to cross by again we might very well try to book this place again.
This cabin is a must if you want to go to peigion forge area, it's about 13 mins out of town far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the area, but close enough to everything to be involved if you would like too.. The cabin itself is great, very clean, well stocked kitchen, linens, etc.. anything that you could possibly need, just bring your clothes, with many extra thoughtful touches, the owners have really went the extra mile to make your stay comfortable, I had to call them on arrival with a question about our stay, they were very kind, very responsive.. would recommend this place to anyone 10 out of 10 hands down.....

Thank you so much for the nice words! We keep trying to improve and learn from all of our guests’ suggestions. Y’all are the reason we can go above and beyond!
The cabin was exactly what me and the wife needed at this particular time in our life we needed a week by ourselves and peace and quiet and this cabin was perfect for that thanks for everything.
We loved out stay in the lazy bear cabin, it was just as pictured! Clean and updated, very cozy! Short distance drive to Pigeon Forge with all the restaurants and entertainment options!
We loved the fireplace by the tub in the bathroom. The privately placed hot tub was in the perfect spot.
Communication with owners was quick and easy through the app. We had no issues and hope to be back for another getaway in the future!
Me and my wife enjoyed our downtime. This is a very quite and cozy neighborhood. We will definitely be back in a couple months when i get back from my travels. I have no complaints whatsoever it was perfect. Thank you so much.
Nicely done. Appreciated the water kettle. For the owner: a second small table for the other bedside and maybe an accordian door for the bathroom would add to comfort. We loved it as is though.
Unfortunately my wife and I were only able to stay one night. Wish we could have stayed a little bit longer in the peace and quiet that wasn't actually too far off the beaten path. Great location.
The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us! Couldn't of stayed in a better place! The host was amazing! So thankful we were able to take our first trip together here! Definitely will have to come back again!
We stayed two nights at this cabin, it was extremely clean and very close to everything but also far enough away from everything. This was the perfect spot! We would definitely recommend this cabin!
