The Space:

This property has a convenient location and terrific layout for a small group or two-three small families. The popular Stingaree Restaurant & Marina is only minutes away, and the beach is a short walk or ride down the beach access road.



A Coral Crab is a 4 bedroom property with 3 different entrances and room to sleep 20. Upstairs you will find 2 separate houses connected by a covered walkway. The main portion of the house has 2 bedrooms with a full bed in the primary bedroom and a full in the second bedroom. This side of the upstairs area also has a living room with satellite TV, a well-equipped kitchen perfect for meal preparation after a day at the beach, and a dining area with seating for 6.



Through the second entrance is a large open concept room with a king bed, 2 full over full bunk beds, and a futon. You will also find a small kitchenette area with its own coffee maker, and satellite TV, in addition to a full bath. Both of these upstairs living areas have central air and heat, and high speed internet.



The downstairs area has 2 queen beds, a futon and a half bath. (the air conditioning down stairs is via a window unit). The property features an outdoor shower to rinse off after a fun day at the beach. A Coral Crab is the place to be for your vacation!



Small dogs (under 35 pounds) allowed with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Easter beach weekend

We had a great time, the cabin was nice, just a short little walk to the beach. We couldn’t get the lights on downstairs, but they were really quick to come out and fix it! We would definitely come back!

Party house

If you just want a party house this is the house for you. If you are looking for a nice house to have family stay in don’t go here. There was dried vomit all over the side of the bed and floor. Lamps were broken. Light bulbs were burned out and no batteries for remote controls. Barbecue grills were broken. I will say management was quick to respond and come address some of the issues but cleaning and maintenance need to do a better job before guests come.

Dirty Business

Dirty socks left under the stairs, outside shower was not clean, wall in the bathroom had poop smeared, rug in the bathroom was dirty and had sand all in it . Handle on the shower door was broken, mold in the corners of the showers . upper deck boards were broken and nails were showing, pillows shams and mattress pads were filthy, bathing suit found under the bed from a precious customer. And the couch had some stain on it . Bottom room smelled like mold and we had to clean the window unit due to the filter being filthy.The cabinet in kitchen was broke, my husband fixed it.. in the room with the bunk beds there was blood smeared on the was on one of them.

This was our first (and likely last) time using this rental company, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.Check-in was at 12 PM, and we arrived on time—not early. Upon entering the home, we were immediately greeted with piles of dirty laundry from the previous guests—sheets, towels, rags—all left on the floor. Even worse, we had paid extra for fresh linens and towels, which were nowhere to be found.When I called to report this, I was told they “hadn’t made their rounds yet.” In my opinion, that’s completely unacceptable. No guest should walk into someone else’s filth, regardless of check-in time.Even after they eventually dropped off the clean linens, I had to call again because the dirty ones still hadn’t been removed.It didn’t stop at the linens—the house was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. Used toiletries were left behind, the toilet had human feces on and under the lid, the shower had sand and soap scum, and the kitchen counters hadn’t been wiped down. It felt unsanitary throughout.Beyond cleanliness, the home itself was in poor condition. The bed covers were torn, and the kitchen table had broken legs—both needing immediate replacement or repair.I strongly urge the owners to consider necessary upgrades and, more importantly, to hire a new property management company. The current one failed miserably in preparing this home for paying guests.

Good for large parties

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed on the peninsula twice before but this was the first time my rental had issues. The AC was not working in 1 area of the house and you could tell it had not been rented in a while (dusty and a little moldy). We also had to clean the oven bc when we prepared dinner that evening, there was so much smoke from the food burning in the bottom of the oven (from the last guest). If you need a lot of beds this works, but I felt so separated from my family during our stay. It could also use some updates. The shared spaces are pretty tight for a home that sleeps as many people as this one did. I surely won't be booking this property again, but we made it work.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were a lot of things I did not like about the home. Two of the rooms had a real bad smell to them. There was no toilet paper, no napkins, or any of the necesites. I have rented plenty of beach houses and all of them provide the most basic necesities like the toilet paper, napkins, towels, bug repelling candles/spray and toiletries. The home allowed pets but there was no way of keeping them from running around as there was no fence around the home and the gate at the top of the stairs was no longer there. It was very uncomfortable because we had to keep pets inside or on a leash if we were sitting outside. Not the greatest experience as the property was not a comfortable stay, the employees at Swede's Real Estate were very nice they made everything very easy. I have no complaints about the process but the property was a huge regret.

The house was clean and very accommodating to our needs. The outdoor shower was a life savor when we returned from the beach each day. There were 20 plus of us at times but we had plenty of room. The only bad thing was the flies. They seemed to know exactly what time we were eating and brought ALL their buddies to eat with us. We made a game of “who can kill the most flies”. We had a great vacation and will definitely come back again. Thanks!

What a great weekend except for the ants

Horrible Condition Led To Unhappy Occupants

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House had dirty, stained rugs upstairs and filthy, smelly throw rugs downstairs. We spent the first half day cleaning and even bought our owner cleaning materials. The pots and pans were greasy and put away VERY DIRTY. The AC's didn't work because the batteries had to be replaced. We bought batteries (Swede's rep brought some later) The downstairs was almost unlivable- Damp and smelled like something had died there. Dirty/buggy window sills and ceiling fans had measurable buildup of dirt/dust. The binds were broken. There was a broken window screen under one bed and a dirty towel. The outside grill was totally orange from rust - Swedes brought us a brand new one. The door knob to the 'dorm' room fell off. We tried to fix it but didn't have the tools. The downstairs bathroom smelled like a sewer. Nails on the decks were popping up and hurt our feet. The door mirror in one bedroom was broken as was the large kitchen clock. The areas under the sofa cushions were dirty. The lights didn't turn on in the dorm room. There was an accumulation of trash behind the house. The WiFi would work sporadically - could not do business. Light bulbs were burned out. Kitchen counter tops had built up debris. Back mold on bathroom caulking. No dishwasher or disposer. The vacuum cleaner must have had a dirty bag because it reeked of wet dog when we used it. Swedes manager was supposed to call me Monday but I haven't heard from him/her. That is disappointing. We paid $$$ for cleaning and then had to do it ourselves to live in this place. The owners need to fix this rental if they want $400 a day for it. IT NEEDS A LOT OF TLC. - We have been good renters over the years, have been pleased with Swedes but this was horrible for our family. Nothing like the pictures indicated.
