What a special place! The cabin is so beautifully curated with such charming features—and the private setting immersed in nature—wow!—a swimming pond, hot tub, outdoor shower, but most of all the stunning views of stars forever. Very special. One note on directions—look for the mailbox with the number 10 on it and turn on that driveway since there is no mailbox with number 8. The towns nearby are so charming too! Don’t miss Hapgood’s General Store for breakfast or lunch—yum! It was a pleasure to communicate with Will and Sarah. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved the Owls Nest! My family and I stayed here while on a ski trip to Bromley and it was the perfect location. The cabin is awesome and it’s just Vermont at its finest. If we are ever in the area I would 100% book this cabin again. My kids 9 & 7 loved hanging out up in the loft.
A beautiful little place in a lovely setting! We felt away from the world, but anything we wanted was a short drive a way and the cabin had all the conveniences.
A perfect cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The host was awesome to work with and the cabin was super clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!!
We greatly enjoyed the Owls Nest. Location was ideal for visiting family and access to skiing. No issues with the 2 feet of beautiful snow that fell during our visit. We will plan to stay again in the future.
We could not be happier with the cabin, location and hosts. 5 star all around. We would highly recommend staying here! The cabin is amazing and decorated perfectly for that “old rustic” feel. We stayed during winter, so the fireplace and hot tub added to the experience. Close to skiing, but tucked away for ultimate relaxation.
We had such a great stay at the Owl's Nest- the cabin is amazing; so bright, cheery, comfy, and cozy. The cabin has so many great touches; from the cool artwork, and the record collection, to the loft and the outdoor shower! We also love this area and had a great time hiking, swimming, and exploring.
Great property that has met a variety of my needs. I've stayed several times; once alone, once with spouse and dog, once entertaining adult children. Communication with the host was great!
Highly recommend this stay if you love a great nature experience with beautiful updates to the cabin. It was picture perfect. We arrived late at night and read through the directions before arriving which helped us navigate to the cabin with ease. All in all highly recommend you won’t regret your stay!!
Wow! An amazing home to stay in, cozy and warm, a beautiful spot, and a great kitchen for cooking. We had a fantastic weekend with great skiing close by. Thanks Will & Sarah!
We truly enjoyed our time at the Owls Nest. The cabin is well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. Will and Sarah were great to work with and beyond accommodating. The fireplace, impressive vinyl collection, puzzles and hot tub made for wonderfully quiet and relaxing weekend. We are already thinking about the next trip. Thank you so much!
Pictures do not do this listing justice! This may be our favorite VRBO rental – ever! The cottage is clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. The location is so peaceful and quiet and yet less than 15 minutes from Bromley ski area. Owners were great to work with, and we will definitely be back again next year. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us!
We kept walking around the cabin saying "it's just so cute!" or "how is this place real?" When the reviews say the pictures don't do it justice, believe them. Top notch owners and property. Thanks so much!
Owl’s Nest was a perfect cabin in the Vermont woods for my husband and I to get away from the city and work. I have spent lots of time in the bigger New England cities and towns, but getting into the woods, without service or street lights was the perfect escape. Huge plus for being dog friendly! We spent lots of time reading, listening to records, enjoying the hot tub, and making a fire in the fireplace. When going out to explore, make sure your car is good on dirt roads - there are lots of them. Highly recommend checking out the shops in Weston or going up to the Clarendon Gorge to find the Suspension Bridge for a hike.
Unfortunately, my husband got the flu the day before we were supposed to leave so we were not able to stay in the cabin. We are already looking ahead to next year and looking forward to visiting Vermont in the fall.
It was difficult to rate our stay since we were unable to go so my responses above are based on the pictures we saw when choosing this location.
