AlpacaView Lodge - Gatehouse -
Our gatehouse (maisonnette) is part of a typical Lower Rhine square courtyard from the year 1910 and has been completely renovated in recent years.
It is very tastefully decorated and offers everything for a relaxing holiday on two floors:
1 bedroom (160 cm x 200 cm box spring bed) not completely separated on the upper floor,
1 bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet and a wash basin
1 living / bedroom with a comfortable single / double bed (extendable with slatted frames) (80 to 160 x 200 cm)
Country house kitchen with ceramic hob, microwave / oven, fridge-freezer, etc.
Washing machine, dryer

40 inch TV with satellite connection, WiFi…
Alpacas, horses, donkeys, goats and chickens as well as dogs and cats live on our farm. Most of the animals came to us from animal welfare projects.
Bring your own horses with you !!!! Guest boxes and pastures as well as a riding arena are available.
Niederkrühen-Laar is a small village without any through traffic but nevertheless with a very good connection.
Our courtyard is nestled in the Lower Rhine countryside on a property
of approximately 42,000 sqm. Own meadows and a piece of forest are part of it.
You can go hiking, cycling or riding right from the property.
The Hariksee and the Schwalm are less than 300m from the property.
Various golf courses and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.
You are in the state capital of Düsseldorf in less than half an hour.
In 10 minutes you can reach Roermond / NL with the famous outlet center.

Entspannung pur auf dem Alpacahof
Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden, Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Fotos im Internet haben nicht zu viel versprochen. Wir können dieses Quartier nur empfelen!

Wenn die Realität die Beschreibungim Internet übertrifft ......
….. dann ist man in diesem wunderbaren Feriendomizil angekommen. Wir, zwei langjährige Freundinnen mit zwei kleinen Hunden haben den knapp einwöchigen (für uns zu kurz !) Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die sorgfältige Abwicklung und Kommunikation in der Vorbereitung, der herzliche Empfang und die ausführlichen Informationen bei der Ankunft waren ein guter Start in die Ferientage. Die Lodge und das von uns gebuchte Torhaus gefielen vom ersten Moment an. Die Ausstattung - besonders im Küchenbereich - ist umfangreich und qualitativ sehr gut. Es ist alles da, was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Wir haben daher gerne "zuhause" gegessen und besonders abends gerne die lauschige Terrasse genutzt. Fragen zum Hof, der Historie und den unterschiedlichen Tieren wurden geduldig und kompetent beantwortet. Die direkte Umgebung ist zum Spazierengehen zu empfehlen und zu Fuß erreicht man nach kurzer Strecke am Hariksee eine nette Möglichkeit zum Einkehren. Die Umgebung (Krickenbecker Seen, Brüggen, Venekotensee, Roermond (eher die hübsche Altstadt als das Shopping Center ;-)) sind nach knapper Autofahrt erreichbar. In Brüggen findet sich die komplette Infrastruktur für Einkauf und Genuss (Eis von Dolomiti muss sein).
Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch bei den engagierten Tierschützern und liebenswürdigen Gastgebern ! Danke Sylvia und Fred für die sehr schönen Alpaka-Lodge-Tage.

Geweldig vakantiehuis
Schitterende woning voorzien van alle gemakken. Alles brandschoon. Lieve mensen. En de dieren zijn ook super. Heerlijke uitvalsbasis voor shoppen in Roermond of Düsseldorf. Rustig gelegen in een mooie natuurlijke omgeving om heerlijk te wandelen. Super weekend gehad, wij komen zeker terug!
