Summer family fun

Grandparents, four kids with three spouses and 8 grandchildren 11years to 6 months. We spent great time together swimming, fishing, hiking, and touring Roaring River hatchery and Nature Center. Plenty of space and well equipped. We didn’t use the yard toys as much as I thought we would, but great variety to keep all entertained.

We had a family Christmas trip with mostly activities that required staying in. The house was great because unlike others it did not feel like we were right on top of each other, there were 18 of us.

Great for a big group!

We had a wonderful time! We were a group of 23, 4 families, so mix of adults and children. It worked awesome- with plenty of room for all! Had a hard time getting hooked up to the WiFi but messaged with the host and they were very helpful and we got it to work. Linens, towels and rags were a little shy but it all worked out. Would stay again!

Our family really enjoyed the house and the bedrooms and common areas provided plenty of space for all. Overall nice place but could tell the cleaning was only so/so. Also, we had issues with the welcome packet needing to be updated and instructions on how to access were not clear.

Comfortable stay for our group

The house had ample space for our group. It’s a remote and quiet spot on the lake. Two marinas nearby but about 10-12 min drive. Easy to get to Roaring River or Eureka Springs. Good collection of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. We loved hanging out on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. LED Key pad was a bit finicky - we had trouble a couple of times when the afternoon sun made it hard to see the key pad numbers. Our group really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

Would recommend

I would recommend this property to large groups and families with kids 5 and up. There are really only two issues with this property. The railing at the top of the stairs is not secure i.e. the vertical support rods are loose and or falling out hence why you should think twice before bringing toddlers. Also the lights can be a bit of a guessing game.

Family Getaway

This was our family vacation where we all get together every three years. Most of the time we enjoy finding a place in Missouri as the Ozarks are very pretty. where we stayed was very beautiful and the lake was very accessible. It didn’t disappoint. Our young ones enjoyed fishing off the lake. They didn’t really catch anything big, but that didn’t matter to them. They just had a good time catching anything. We did enjoy swimming but I would advise that you have water shoes as the rocks are sharp in the water. We enjoyed water, balloon fights and Nerf gun wars and actually did a game of croquet in the huge shaded backyard. The house was plenty spacious and had everything we really needed. Roaring river is beautiful and you could easily spend a day there and have a picnic lunch. It’s just 15 minutes away. The reason I gave this place a 4 rating instead of a five is because the master bedroom says King and it is only a queen. We enjoyed our stay very much and the property manager was more than accommodating.

Nothing short of amazing.

This beautiful home was everything my family wanted and needed it to be. This home had everything we needed. There was plenty of linen, pots and pans, and utensils. This is the first property I ever stayed and needed absolutely nothing. Almost every room had a sofa bed so it's plenty of room. My family and I truly enjoyed ourselves. We had a white Christmas. We plan to return in the summer.

Great house for a large group.

House was in good shape. It was a great place to hang out after long days riding in Eureka. Beds where comfortable even the couch/futon we used for our large group was not bad as some often are. There was enough room to park an 18 ft enclosed trailer and truck. Listing never said anything about the garage so just FYI it is not available to guests. We never count on the garage being available( we just load the more custom bikes in the trailer and the rest stay outside) it's just nice when it is available and we don't have to dry the bikes off every morning. All said we enjoyed the house and it helped make a great trip.

Birthday family trip

very nice property!! Plenty of room, we had 14 people in our family and there was more than enough room!! Swimming in the lake was difficult due to the docks but we loaded up and went to Eagle rock bridge swim area and the kids enjoyed it!! I would recommend this property to anyone who has a large group!! We enjoyed it so much!!
