About this property

Savannah Historic District Studio on Perry Lane

This studio is tucked behind a Liberty Street row house in the Historic District. Gorgeous granite counter tops in the kitchenette, bar table, queen bed and easy chairs plus large flat screen tv will make you feel at home in this romantic retreat. Bathroom has walk in shower.

A 'carriage house' is a behind a main house, which is a common setup in Savannah. The private entrance for this unit is in the Lane (alley) that is technically Perry Lane and there are stairs to the main living space. This is above a garage. The balcony overlooks a shared patio. There is no shared interior space in terms of bedroom/bathroom that is all private for you during your stay.

You have a private stairwell leading to your private interior studio. The studio has a mini kitchen, private bathroom with real door, Queen bed and sitting area. The garage below is shared with the owner but when she is out of town you would be permitted to put your car in her spot so just ask! The laundry machines in the garage are for guests to use any time.

Very clean, small but cozy. We didn't use it but kitchen certainly adequate to cook complete meals. Quiet neighborhood, we walked to river st in about 25 min. 5 min walk to Screaming Mimi's, try their canlzone it was amazing. We were able to use garage but plenty of free and paid street parking around just read all the signs, more spots available evening and morning, more crowded during the day.

We really enjoyed Savannah. This was a nice safe place and very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Small but cozy and perfect for my husband and I. Good location and lots to do in Savannah. We loved the dolphin cruise.

The place is very quaint and comfortable for two people. It was in a great location that made for easy walking to either the river walk or Forsyth square. There were lots of nice shops and cafes nearby also. Loved our stay.

This place hit the spot for us. It was walkable to downtown Savannah, had a small kitchen with just the right amount of items to service our needs, and we liked the two comfortable chairs for relaxing in at the end of the day. The shower stall is a bit close but did the job. We had no problems with free street parking.

Being able to park in the garage was a definite plus whereas street parking would’ve been difficult. The bed was very comfortable and the unit looked just like the pictures. The only negatives were that the built-in refrigerator was not working correctly, and the standalone refrigerator provided was very small and also we couldn’t find dish rags or dish towels. However, aside from that we enjoyed the unit very much.

Exactly as pictured! Close walking distance to so much ! The host let us use the garage which made parking stress free but there’s also a lot of street parking near by. It was clean, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony the courtyard was quiet. A nice way to end the day after so much walking ! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Pics accurate… chairs were lay-z-boys that swiveled toward the tv. Good for a nap and watching the Olympics! Plenty of room, very comfy bed, used our own pillows though. Walked to these spots: The Public Restaurant & Bar, Espresso Gallery; Walgreens; Broughton Street Liquor; Vic’s on the River; Pinky Masters; Taylor Park Hitch; Belen De La Cruz … all amazing. Nice place to stay, centrally located in Savannah

Centrally located in Savannah, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Restaurants, shopping and the Riverwalk were all just a few blocks away. The room was like a studio apartment, nice & cozy for my wife and I. All at a reasonable price.
