The Ybor House - Vintage Bungalow in Central Tampa
The Ybor House was built as a family home in 1925 and has since been continuously occupied by the Mortellaro family through December 2021. The house has been recently renovated and restored yet retains the original architectural and interior details featuring the vintage charm and character of this spacious 1,600 interior square foot Craftsman Bungalow.

The Ybor House is one level for guests with 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Double and 2 twins) plus a queen-size sofa bed, a large full bath, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen (seats 6), large dining room and living room, and den. See the ROOMS section for more information about each room.

My brother and I are the third generation of the Mortellaro family. We lived in the house as children. We have a special affection for the family home and recently have completed renovations of the interior. The exterior renovation is continuing

This family home has been vacant and was recently renovated. My brother and I, the co-owners of the property, have decided to offer the use of the home to visitors to Tampa due to its central location and popular amenities.
What makes this property unique
FAMILY-FRIENDLY FEATURES
With approximately 1500 sq. ft. of interior floor area and high ceilings, the house is spacious and comfortable. The full-width front porch has seating. The Back Yard offers a place to relax and for children and pets to play.
The Ybor House is intended as a family-friendly rental and children are welcome. The home can be child-proofed from inquisitive toddlers and equipment and provisions for infants are happily provided on request.
Pets are accepted with the posted pet fee per pet per stay. There are no restrictions on breed or size. We only ask that they be well-behaved.
Parks and Recreation
Cuscaden Park is 3 blocks east of the house. It features a children’s playground and a large, fenced field for exercising both yourselves and your dogs. There are tennis, pickle ball, and basketball courts free to use. Cuscaden Pool is a historic but modernized free public pool. Other parks are downtown and in adjacent neighborhoods.
Games, Toys and Books,
The has games and puzzles for adults and children and children’s books. Feel free to browse and read books from the bookshelves in the Den.
Food Allergies
While we scrupulously clean and sanitize after each guest, please let us know if you or your children have any food allergies. We can then ensure that foods containing those allergens are not left behind by previous guests.

The three Roku 4K TVs – Living Room. Den, and Front Bedroom – have complimentary Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video streaming services provided and Live TV via a digital antenna.

If you wish to entertain a group of more than 6 family and friends for a meal, we will be happy to extend the dining table and provide additional chairs, dishware, silverware, and whatever else you need.
