About this property
Charming Cottage with Expansive Hudson River Views
The Swan Cottage was built in 1923 and was fully renovated in 2020. The idyllic location, on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, is the perfect perch to relax and get away from it all. The front porch is a nice spot to have a cup of coffee and watch the sailboats on the river, while the huge wraparound porch affords terrific views of the river as well as the forest that gives this home a feeling of being high in the tree tops.

About the host
Your host

I was born and raised on LI to Greek parents. I fell in love with the Hudson Valley when I was in art school at New Paltz and was compelled to return again and again. In 2010 I returned to the area and opened my own restaurant, Boitson's. In 2022, I sold my business and now I spend lots of time with my family and friends. I love to antique, travel, work on the houses and explore the beauty of the Hudson Valley.
I have been a highly rated host on another platform for many years. Hospitality is in my genes, and I love to have guests visit my cottage and the region.

Why they chose this property
I was very fortunate to find this very special property before the pandemic, and managed to close on it on Friday, March 13, 2020. After a long scary time of not being able to work on the houses, I managed to rebuild the cottage and make it available to guests. There are 2 brand new bedrooms, a brand new kitchen, and fully redone walls, windows, doors and more. It's been a true labor of love and I am so happy to share it with guests.
What makes this property unique
The view from the cottage is truly spectacular. Every season has its charms, and the river is visible all year long.
