About the host
Hosted by Amy
Hi! I’m a proud Asheville native and feel incredibly lucky to call these beautiful mountains home. In fact, I grew up right in this neighborhood, so hosting this home is especially meaningful to me—it’s filled with memories, warmth, and a true sense of place that I love sharing with others.
My journey has taken me far and wide, including several years living and working in Southern Africa with the Peace Corps. Traveling opened my heart and mind in countless ways, but no matter where I go, the Blue Ridge Mountains always call me back.
These days, I’m a mom (to both two- and four-legged kids!) and enjoy a vibrant, active life filled with swimming, dancing, and getting outdoors whenever I can. Hosting allows me to combine my love for travel, community, and hospitality. I want every guest to feel at ease the moment they walk in the door—to relax, recharge, and feel right at home.
Whether you’re here to explore the trails, sip local brews, or just soak up the peace and quiet, I hope my home offers you the perfect base for your adventure. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a space created with care, comfort, and connection in mind.
I look forward to welcoming you!

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it’s truly the best of both worlds—peaceful and family-friendly, yet close to everything that makes this area such a fantastic destination. It’s actually the same neighborhood I grew up in, and I’ve always loved the quiet charm, walkability, and welcoming feel. Whether you’re looking to go for a morning jog, take a leisurely stroll with the kids, or simply unwind on the porch with a cup of coffee, it’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment.
The location couldn’t be more convenient. You’re just a short drive from both Asheville and Hendersonville, close to the airport, and surrounded by all the best Western North Carolina has to offer—iconic spots like the Biltmore Estate, local breweries, amazing restaurants, and some of the most beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails in the region. There are also nearby parks and playgrounds for families traveling with little ones.
Whether you’re here for outdoor adventures or a relaxing getaway, this neighborhood offers a perfect launching point—and a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. I truly love it here, and I think you will too.

What makes this property unique
This home stands out for its perfect blend of comfort, style, and outdoor living—all in an unbeatable location. One of the biggest highlights is the private outdoor space. The backyard is fully fenced and opens to a peaceful forest view, giving you a sense of privacy and connection to nature. Guests love relaxing by the private pool (open seasonally, typically May through October), which can be heated for an additional fee during the open months. There’s also a year-round hot tub for soaking under the stars, no matter the season. With lounge chairs, a dining table, and a gas grill, the patio is perfect for outdoor dining, unwinding, or gathering with friends and family.
Inside, the home features an open-concept layout that’s bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and connection. High ceilings and skylights in the living room bring in beautiful natural light, and the single-level layout with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the main floor makes it accessible and convenient for families or groups traveling together.
And of course—location, location, location. Tucked in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, you’re just minutes from Asheville, Hendersonville, the airport, and top attractions like the Biltmore Estate, waterfalls, hiking trails, breweries, and more. Whether you’re here for adventure, rest, or a bit of both, this home offers a truly special setting for your stay.
