It was very clean and comfortable had a home feeling..We would book again ..Only problem it was full of ants you had to keep all food in refrigerator...
Check in was super easy. Place was clean. We met Dave on the Road. He was super pleasant. No neighbors as far as the eye can see. Record player was a nice touch and no internet was much needed. They left out treats for our dogs and some fresh tomatoes from their garden. Btw the shower was awesome. Will be back!
Loved being able to have our dogss with us! The host left treats for us and the dogs, was very responsive messages and questons and the property had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back!
We were able to book with only one day notice. Our host, Dave, was very quick to respond. We checked in without a problem. The cabin was clean and cozy, there were lots of movies and music to choose from, which came in handy since the weather wasn’t cooperating. I wish we had more time to explore a little bit, but I guess we’ll do that next time. I love secluded get aways and this one did not disappoint.

Horrible musty smell. Everything is damp and musty inside. Backyard and porch are a mess. Mattresses are not comfortable.
The property was perfect for a get away from the city, we enjoyed the area and the property we had everything we needed for our getaway and offered a variety of games, movies and music to enjoy.
The cabin and property were perfect !!! Was just what my family needed. Nothing I would change about it, having central air conditioning was awesome after long hikes in the woods.
Awesome experience. Hosts were above and beyond. Even left treats for our pups. Excellent communication and prompt attention. Definitely check this place out!
Beautiful scenery and peaceful. Cabin was clean with all amenities. We are already booked for a fall stay

About the host
Hosted by David a Watkins
Dave and I love the outdoors so this is a perfect property for us. We have 2 married kids, 2 dogs and 3 cats and 40,000 honey bees. So if you see one, don't smash it. Dave has them all named. We love to fish, read, hike, . Dave grew up in toledo and I grew up in Michigan. Don't worry, I am a buckeye fan. Dave was in the army so we lived in Indiana, Boston, Korea and New York.
Why they chose this property
This property used to be a hunting preserve, so you may notice jurassic size fences around it. We opened up the gates and let in the natives. We have seen deer, turkey, mink, foxes, raccoons, skunks rabbits and squirrels. Dave will go out to hunt but I think he enjoys watching the animals more
What makes this property unique
We have a creek babbling through, the property and a waterful that is nice after a spring rain. It also looks incredible when it is frozen, . If you would like to see it, let us know and we can provide walking directions. At night, it is country dark and the stars are amazing. There is an app to download that show the constellations if you are interested.
