This Gated, Oceanside Luxury Community with Resort Style Amenities is in the perfect location. Close to everything in and around the Village of Corolla! One of the LARGEST 2 bedrooms Cottages in The Beach Club at Whalehead Community! Corner/end Cottage with more windows, more space, 2 Hall Bath sinks, 24/7 views of the Lighthouse from your living area and a commercial ice maker in one of the 2 outside closets!

This beautifully decorated, dog friendly vacation oasis has everything you could want in a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath. Walk into a large open concept family room/kitchen where you and your friends and family will create amazing beach memories!

The well-stocked, fully outfitted kitchen features a full suite of stainless-steel appliances including a full-size side by side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, disposal and DOUBLE OVEN (upgrade), coffee makers (Keurig and drip) and an abundance of shaker style storage cabinets. Children's plates, cups and glasses! You will love the 9-foot kitchen Island, with seating for six, covered in a beautiful Corian countertop, perfect for eating, working, zooming, or playing games with your family and friends.

Family room features a queen sleeper SECTIONAL and 65 INCH SMART TV (upgrade) along with games, puzzles, books and more!!!

Just beyond the family room, you will enjoy a nice sized laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer, pack and play, high chair, broom/dust pan, mop/bucket, iron/ironing board, full length mirror and vacuum. Across the hall is a full-size bath (bathtub/shower), (DOUBLE SINK VANITY-upgrade) which is shared by one of the two KING bedrooms. The Primary King Bedroom has its own private luxury shower. Both bedrooms feature comfortable luxurious mattresses, stylish décor, and smart TVs with cable.

Head outside and down to the pool or the beach! You can also enjoy a ground level front porch with plenty of seating where you will have outstanding views of the Currituck Lighthouse and the magnificent sunsets over the Whalehead Club, both are right across the street! In addition, this Cottage comes with goodies for your short walk to the beach access! We provide 4 BEACH CHAIRS, 1 BEACH CART, a BEACH UMBRELLA, and sand umbrella holder, 6 beach towels and 2-26 inch adult BEACH CRUISERS (Bikes) with locks for biking around Corolla!.

Outside in the closet near the grill is a large, rolling cooler for trips to the pool and the beach and also a FULL SIZE COMMERCIAL ICE MAKER (upgrade)! No more buying ice!

The 30 x 50 Community Salt Water Pool is surrounded by covered Cabanas you may rent - Each has its own TV, refrigerator and misting fan. Enjoy Poolside restrooms, tables and chairs and loungers galore!
If you’d like to start your vacation earlier than Check In time, you may rent a Pool Cabana and get early access to the Pool for the day!
Rental information for the Cabanas and Pickleball Court Rental will be sent to you ahead of your Check In Day!

Community Gym now open! Hours 7 am - 9 pm daily!

Pickle Ball Courts - now open! Reserve in "Cabana Rental/PickleBall" Information that will be sent to you before your reserved dates. 8 am - 7 pm (last reservation at 7 pm)

There are 2 EV Charging Stations in the Community. We own a 220 volt charging cable and will be happy to share! Information and their locations will be sent to you with Check In Information, if requested!

Fire pits with seating surrounding the pool open all year.

Check In Information and your Keyless Entry Code will be sent to you the week of your Booking (or sooner!)

Check-In begins at 4pm.

The Keyless Entry Code will begin granting access at this time.

Check-Out is 10am.

We have made arrangements with 5 other units (2 next door, 2 right across the street and 1 three doors down) to book our Cottages together when they are all available. Enjoy the privacy of your immediate family at bedtime while playing with your friends and additional family during the day. Assuming all of these Cottages are available when you choose to come, this option allows you to book up to 8 bedrooms for the same time period.

My family & I absolutely loved our stay at the Saltwater Seaclusion. This place was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed! The location was amazing-close to the lighthouse and short 4 minute walk to the beach. We also ordered food from the Salty Rim which can be delivered to our door. Marcy was quick to respond to any questions and we were able to check in early due to early cleaning. Loved having the umbrella, chairs, cooler, ice machine for the cooler and the wagon provided! Also we brought our dog who loved it there. The community is dog-friendly and even has a dog park nearby. We loved it there and plan to come back in the future!

Great vacation

Off season so the area was really quiet and relaxing. Condo was perfect; clean and it had the best amenities. Quick walk to pool, beach, and a bakery with excellent coffee! Can’t wait to return in the spring.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We made our reservation with the intent of seeing the wild horses. We were VERY pleased with our accommodations. This is NOT your typical, worn beach house! It was new, and VERY WELL loved & taken care of. Immaculately clean, and well stocked with just about anything you could ever need to make your vacay stay great. Location is killer! Short walk to the beach, Currituck lighthouse, Whalehead, the park, Maritime Museum, Historic Corolla shops, restaurants… and just a couple of miles South of the 4x4 beach (and the wild horses)! Owner was communicative and friendly; willing to offer suggestions to make our stay special. HIGHLY recommend you consider a stay — the front porch view of the Lighthouse is magical!

Fantastic Pick!

Marcy was the best host we’ve had through VRBO. Quick to respond, friendly, and the house had more than everything we needed. The property itself is a great location. Easy walk to the beach and the pup loved walking at Corolla Park during sunset. The community construction didn’t bother us at all and when all the additional community amenities are finished, they’ll be a great addition. We were big fans of the community pool and loved that it was also a very easy walk to Corolla Light Town Center. We loved our stay!

Pleasant Stay

First time to the area. It's a little out of the way, as far as access to the main entrance to the OBX. This property was well appointed with all that you'd expect in a private rental, plus a nice hotel room. To that end, it exceeded expectations. Ongoing construction of the surrounding property was a little bit of a nuisance, but that should be resolved with time.

Dynamic growing community

Imagine staying in a cutting edge dynamic growing community! 5 Starts Across the Board

Marcy is the ultimate host she left no stone unturned in ensuring the property was fully stocked with everything we could need for an amazing getaway. The condo was clean and in amazing condition, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. The condo is a 3-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute walk to historic Corolla Village and the Currituck Beach House. Whalehead Club is directly across the street from the condo in a park-like setting on the Currituck Sound, it is perfect for walking and viewing the most amazing sunsets.

Best appointed vacation property

Saltwater Seaclusion is a dream for a couples' getaway! Situated on a beach access road and directly across from the lighthouse and Corolla Village, the location couldn't be more perfect! We walked out to the beach access at night and looked back at the lighthouse, mesmerized by the moon resting above the circulating light. 4WD access is just a few miles away, offering endless enjoyment of natural dunes, ocean, and the wild horse sightings. The neighborhood is deep into construction mode but it did not interrupt our stay and enjoyment of the home. A paved neighborhood entrance and parking lead to a beautifully landscaped pathway to the front door. We were amazed at the quietness inside despite being a duplex and the neighboring Highway 12. Many toddler and babies were a part of the families renting the adjacent unit, but we never heard them. Also, when we opened the front door, we heard the traffic on the road that is just steps away. When we closed the door, we didn't hear a sound. Everything was thought of for a restful stay at Saltwater Seaclusion. Maybe just pack some sneakers for exploring the quaint village and a swimsuit for the beach. The kitchen is beautiful and well appointed. You can accomplish any meal or baking desired with all the kitchen accessories. We cannot recommend enough a stay at this property.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and close to the Currituck Lighthouse, Corolla Park, and restaurants. Lots of things to do in the area.Even though the weather wasn't great, we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

One is just next door and one right across the Street. This allows us to offer up to 4 or 6 bedrooms by renting multiple units.
