About this property

Stylish home w/ Sunroom on 15 Magical Acres w/ Stream near Delaware River

Located 2 hours from GWB, NYC, CASA cochecton – at its core – is a sanctuary home masterfully curated & designed for those who seek to unwind in the beauty of the imperfect yet perfect natural settings near the Delaware River in the Western Catskills.

In the Town of Cochecton, you are close to endless activities with incredible restaurants, shops, breweries/distilleries, & more.

Within 7 to 30 mins of Bethel and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Delaware River, Narrowsburg, Roscoe, Callicoon, Eldred, Livingston Manor & more.

The space
Indulge in wabi-sabi embodiment of living with artistically selected furnishings and interior design. We encourage guests to live by the wabi-sabi philosophy of abandoning the Westernized concept of artificial beauty and idolizing a state of perfection that is seemingly unachievable and unnatural.

The home features 3 sleeping areas (2 queen-sized bedrooms and a sunroom lounge turned bedroom in the evenings). The sunroom is the place to have your morning cup of hot tea, coffee, a glass of wine, or even breakfast while enjoying each other's company, playing games, watching movies, or simply unwinding from the hustle and bustle of daily life or pandemic madness. All this overlooks the expansive yard and forests that frequent animal visitors.

In addition, the home is equipped with high-speed WiFi, security and monitoring system, keyless entry, gas grill, two 4K smart TVs, workstation, a cozy yet spacious fully-equipped kitchen, selection of high-quality teas, and coffee, expertly designed dining space for 6, and two bathrooms that are fit for any spa-like seeking individual.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home (besides the basement; nothing special, promise) as well as our 15 acres of magical, mystical woods featuring our expansive portion of the stream, otherwise known as The Nebraska Brook.

Other things to note
Free concierge service with stays.

We utilize Ring Security System and Ring cameras/monitoring system on the property's exterior to ensure your belongings and property are being looked after in this beautiful natural/wildlife setting (be on the lookout for the neighborhood bears). Please be aware of bear safety prior to check-in.

We have a strict on-leash policy, given the presence of other wildlife and no fence surrounding the property.

You may request an early check-in. If so, a $25 fee will be charged either at the time of booking, during your stay, or after your stay. This includes if you or your group arrives prior to the 4pm check-in time.

Weekend away
The house is clean, spacious, exactly what the pictures show. Backyard and deck are beautiful. My friends and I enjoyed our time away and this house made it. Not much to do close to the house but it was definitely a relaxing and fun weekend.

Lovely place!
We had a marvelous time in this lovely and comfortable house, with plenty of space for 4 adults and one little dog. Our daughter and her sweetheart especially enjoyed spending time on the sunporch and walking their dog on the trail behind the house. Thank you!

Successfully escaped the city!
This house was absolutely amazing. Karen was the best host, she was so attentive and answered all my questions quickly. We visited with our pup who was in heaven at this home, the property around the house is wonderful. There's hiking so close by, restaurants, and fun all around as well. It's the perfect spot for a city getaway.

Perfect City Escape Cabin!
We had a great stay with our friends and furry friends too! The space was great for enjoying the outdoors and cozying up inside in the sun room with some games! Everything was perfectly set up for short or even longer stays. The location was also very convenient - a short drive to historical site of Woodstock and some hiking trails along the Delaware river! Karen was a delight to speak with, offering suggestions of what to do and always responding quickly when we had questions.
