About this property

This lovely hand-made modern home in the woods, lined with windows, flooded with light, has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and a large wraparound deck facing a feisty stream. It has 10 beautiful acres of woods to wander, and no neighbors in sight for acres beyond. Enjoy its large inspiring kitchen and lofty spaces stocked with albums, movies, books, art supplies, and instruments. 5-10 minute drive to the outdoor adventures on the Delaware River and Sullivan county's hot spots including Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Bethel Woods Arts Center, Skinners Falls, gambling in Monticello and so much more. Enjoy antiquing, fishing, hunting, rafting, gambling, skiing, farmers markets - or do nothing but relax on the deck and wander in our delightful woods with a stream that never ceases to delight.

Note : The house is cleaned after each stay thoroughly with disinfectants. Cleaning supplies will also be provided. You also don't need to have in-person contact to get access. You may contact me to ask any further questions about the cleaning practices used.

Quaint Homey Get Away

The house is quirky in a fun way. Very neat, loved all the views. We saw so much wildlife, from deer to turkey. Easy drive to many places. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay again.

Awesome stay and excellent host

We enjoyed the property and the proximity to many small towns. House was clean and functional. The host was super informative. The family loved the house and the relaxing atmosphere. Thank you and we will be back for another stay!

Hthome away from home!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home. Im from Narrowburgh, and its important for me to get home and be with my family. When we stay here, we joke that its our home. But we really feel that! And we cant wait for our next stay!!!

Amazing ambient

Everything was perfect. It was so good to get away from the city. This place contributed a lot to this. Everything was complete as on the website. The kitchen had everything in abundance. The seating groups were perfect. The television section was great and we enjoyed 3 nights of movies. The beds were great and everywhere was clean. There are no words to say about nature, it is magnificent. We had a great time playing games at home with my two sons and my wife. We would like to come again. We also thank Chris for his help.

Relaxing fun getaway with your family !

The property was a very beautiful and clean. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing to get away from the busy city. If you have a furry friend they can definitely come along and have the time of their life !

Why they chose this property

I was introduced to this area by a friend from college whose family owns nearby, and I fell in love visiting through the 90s. I eventually bought a home built by hand by a friend of that family.

What makes this property unique

I love this home because it is modern and lofty, yet cozy and comfortable. I love the wraparound deck with forest views. I love that it is private in the midst of hundred of acres of woods filled with wildlife, with a pretty little stream that is different every day of the year, and filled with wildlife. An old grown-over quarry road crosses the property for easy hikes to the stream, and a sense of the area's history. And though it so private, I am still 5-15 minutes away from all of Sullivan County's hot spots including excellent restaurants, farmers markets, antiques and more. The original Woodstock happened just 10 minutes away in Bethel, home of the Bethel Woods Art Centre.
