Clean Doesnt have many amenities A toaster would have been nice and maybe a few kcups just to get you a couple of cups of coffee.Extra towels and linens would be good too otherwise note to bring your own. And a channel guide for out of town guests
From turning into the driveway, we loved it's peace and isolation on a very private driveway just down the road from Bethel Woods. The property is spacious and well-maintained, and we were sad to have to leave after the second night since it was off the beaten path in a beautiful area!It was comfortable & more like a cottage than hunting cabin, nice amenities! I wish we'd picked this place earlier to take full use of the property. *We may reserve it again sometime in the future if another great event is held at Bethel Woods! It's a trip from Western NY, but definitely worth it!Thanks again to Joe for the use of it. He was available via texts here on the website to answer questions and assist you as needed.
Location: perfect! We couldn't have been any closer to our event!
We enjoyed the porch, anti-gravity chairs and the outdoor grill time.
The place has everything you'd need for a short stay. Very clean.
I have family about 40 minutes away, but a great childhood friend who lives 10 minutes away and I wanted to have enough space for everyone to be able to relax. It was pretty perfect.
For the cost of the stay, The place was outdated, when taking a shower or using the water there seem to be alot of air in the lines and the water temperature was luke warm at best. sheets, Linen and towels have seen beter days.
We really enjoyed the location of this place- so close to Bethel Woods for a concert. It's also close to Lake Superior State park. It was comfortable and as described. It was in a very quiet and safe location!
It would be great if there was toilet paper (and one spare roll) and a box of tissues provided for guests.
Since there are dishes provided (with soap and sponge), it would be good to provide a dish towel to dry them.
It would be nice if someone would vacuum the spider webs in the corners of the room and the dead flies in the windowsills. There was also some grass on the floor and on the doormat upon entering the space.
A dehumidifier would help with the musty smell. However, opening the windows helped!
I would stay again!

Liked: Location
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Careless
Upon arriving, I will say, that we were super excited about the property. The location is beautiful. The process of entering the home was extremely difficult, it seems the lock for the door needed to be replaced. After several tries, we finally were able to unlock the door, but it was a process between us three adults. The inside was Fine except we didn’t have enough towels for everyone and when I informed the host, he told me that there should be enough. I assured him there wasn’t and his response was just “OK”. I told him about the front door situation as well and his response was the same, just “Ok” There were no solutions or any attempts to better our situation on his end. It was upsetting because the bathroom floor is extremely slippery after taking a shower and there was no towel or mat available. The property was in a gorgeous spot, but I would never stay there again as the host was extremely careless.
What a great little place to stay!
My Dad, Brother & I flew up from the South, needed a place to stay local to my Grandfathers funeral service. This was perfect! A short 20min drive to where our family would be gathering. Comfortable, clean, cozy! Shows as listed. Host was extremely timely & pleasant to communicate with.
Our only wish would be extra pillows & a little larger fridge (maybe apartment size), for food/freezer purposes; we bought a small cooler for ice bags & water to get us through, however had to leave it behind.
We very much enjoyed the outside porch, listening to the peaceful Country side.
Will be traveling North again & definitely planning on booking here!
Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Great little cabin very close to bethel woods, the history of Woodstock”
Our stay was awesome! The best part of the cabin was it is a five minute drive to the Woodstock museum where we attended the big sip festival. The cabin was plenty big with two bedrooms and a nice bathroom . The only wish we had was that there was a kitchen table to eat and play games at. There was no table and plenty of Soave to add one. There was a nice table on the porch but it was too chilly to sit out there and enjoy games with the family. Other than that it was a perfect stay
Check in/check out process was very easy. Clean, and enough heaters to keep warm during freezing temps. Very isolated with only a few houses nearby, perfect for a getaway from the city. Also surprising to us, only a 5 minute drive to historic Woodstock. Would recommend.
Still a great place to stay for attending Bethel Woods Events
This was our second stay and it was just as great as the first! We were attending an event at Bethel Woods and it is a very convenient place to stay. Everything was clean and it is such a quiet and relaxing location. Definitely recommended!
Went up to see a concert at Bethel Woods. Was looking for a place to stay nearby and found this place. What a great find. Place was very clean and decorated very nice. Also very close to the venue. The owner Joseph was very easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions. I would definitely come back Thank you
The house was perfect for my friends and I for the weekend. The hiuse was advertised very correctly and the area is very nice. The owner checked up on us making sure everything was OK and responded very quickly when I had questions
Hi!! I really enjoyed the cabin. It was just as advertised. It was quiet. Very simple, but elegant in its own way, I saw one deer and 2 Turkeys, and also lots of fireflies. Easy check in, and extra directions were very helpful. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your property, I look forward to coming back next year!!! 😊
the house is very clean and neat.
However, bathroom needs some towels hooks.
I think the shower need to be upgraded and it's constantly leaking.
Also, owner should warn people who has T-Mobil carrier there are so many dead spots (including inside of the house) where no cell service at all.
The actual house is exactly as described on the listing and pictures, so no surprises at all.
Everything was clean, and the owner was very responsive and helpful when we contacted him with some questions.
We got to enjoy a peaceful and quiet weekend.
It was a wonderful experience. We went mid July- I would highly recommend. For future purposes bring some candles for the crazy flies outside on the patio trying to land on your food.. there are outlets outside if you want to bring a zapper. We brought our own plastic knives and forks , good thing we did, but forgot a cutting knife. Next time we will definitely be more prepared. The air was fresh and clean, it was quiet for our 4 days stay. Host was very responsive and helpful , for whenever we had any questions. We had coffee in the mornings (bring coffee pods) Shower water pressure was amazing. I expected less from this property but was surprisingly shocked how wonderful it was. For 3 people- 4 days we fit all our food in the medium sided fridge , left the drinks on the patio in ice. No AC but the fans in every room did their job. PLUS we took the floor fan on the patio during the day while we were out there on a summer day. It definitely is as relaxing and safe, left the door open all day just had the screen closed for those pesky flies. Honestly, we are already planning our next visit here. There are stores a short drive away or if you don't have a car like us, a 30 min walk to a restaurant/store that had coffee.
