Need a break from your busy life? Want a perfect spring, summer or fall vacation? We have the perfect getaway! Relaxation and fun awaits in this 5 star, stylish guest house located on the shores of White Lake, in the picturesque Catskill Mountains. You will enjoy beautiful lake views as well as access to the on-site lakefront beach, shared only with the hosts. White Lake is a clean, spring-fed lake, perfect for swimming, boating, paddle boarding and fishing. If you're lucky, catch a birds-eye view of the majestic eagles that soar above the lake!

Add some excitement to your stay with a visit to the museum, concert, festivals or events at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, home of the famed 1969 Woodstock Festival, which is just 3 miles away. Visit the area's quaint villages and breweries, take a refreshing mountain hike, or walk a half mile to the lakeside restaurants and shops in the village of Kauneonga Lake.

Most of all, though, enjoy your home away from home. You will be struck by the unique space which includes two comfortable bedrooms, an open concept living area, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and deck with gas grill. The entire cottage is furnished and designed for your comfort with central heat and air conditioning. The two bedrooms each have a queen bed. The living room has a large and comfortable sectional couch and two swivel chairs for additional seating. Large dormer windows provide lake views. The living room and both bedrooms are equipped with smart TV's. The dining area has a stylish high top table with four stools, and the kitchen is fully outfitted with large and small appliances, pots, pans, dishes and utensils for all your cooking needs, as well as a full-size refrigerator with in-door filtered water and ice. Make sure you check out the photos of our beautiful, newly renovated bathroom, although the pictures do not do it justice.

Guests are invited to use the private beach, a short walk down the back driveway. A stone firepit is located on the beach and may be used with the hosts' knowledge and permission. Have fun in the lake with the rowboat, peddle boat and two kayaks (life vests are hung in the 2nd bedroom closet), or relax with a glass of wine on your private deck, on the patio at the end of the dock or in the gazebo while you watch the sun set. In addition, you are invited to bring your own water toys and leave them on the beach or under the cottage deck. Docks and summer equipment are available from mid-May to mid-October.

WiFi is included; TV apps provided with guest login. Bethel Woods Center For the Arts, World Resorts Catskill Casino and Waterpark, Forestburgh Playhouse, Saturday night stock car races, horseback riding, hiking trails, breweries and restaurants are all nearby.

Stays for a month or longer will be discounted 10%.

The room although not a house, it's on top of a garage is perfect for a stay in the Bethel area. Plenty of room and totally spotless. Glenn and Kim are super nice people. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet Sweet Cottage

We loved how cozy Kim and Glenn’s cottage was. It’s a quiet neighborhood with lake views. Even in the dead of winter the lake has a very calming effect. We especially loved their super comfy sectional sofa. We’ll be back when we can take advantage of the lake.

Superb Property for Quality R & R!!

Just come back from a nine-day fabulous stay at Glen & Kim's property on White Lake. The two-bedroomed Guest House has great views of the Lake, is spotless and beautifully appointed with everything one might need for a relaxing vacation. The lakefront garden and mini beach are well maintained and we spent many an hour relaxing on the dock/deck watching the array of boats and swimmers on the truly picturesque lake. Our hosts were gracious and we look forward to returning for future visits - thank you Glenn & Kim!

The hosts were super accommodating. Our check in was seamless even with a last minute change of plans on our end. They are friendly, kind and super knowledgeable about the area. The cottage was super clean, well equipped and perfect! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only regret is that we had too many plans and didn’t get to enjoy a glass of wine on the dock, which will be the first order of business on our next stay here.

We loved Glenn and Kim’s place in White Lake. Everything is new and clean and the location can’t be beat! The water in the lake is clean and a pleasure to swim in, as well as do any water sports. The town is small but restaurants are good. The guest house was perfect for two, but could easily hold two couples or a small family. Glenn and Kim were gracious hosts and easy to work with. If you are looking for a place in White Lake, this is the best!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The Lake house was very comfortable, extremely clean with fabulous views of the lake, a well appointed kitchen, very quiet and good sleeping. Superb getaway!

After coming to White Lake for 31 years just 2 blocks away, it was great to come back. Lovely lakeside property

Lovely 2bedroom property above a garage is extremely well kept and private. It has views of the lake from the open concept livingroom/ kitchen and from the master bedroom. Everything is updated and the kitchen is well stocked. We spent a lot of time sitting on the chairs on the dock taking in the lake view and chilling out.

Relaxing Weekend by the Lake

The apartment was very cozy, spacious, clean, and updated. They have two kayaks, a row boat, two paddle boats, and a paddle board for use. We caught many fishes right on the private dock. The lake was big and beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary appliances. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

That and the fact that you have your own private driveway, deck and front yard assures that your stay will be private. It is a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, breweries, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, hiking, and all the other scenic and recreational opportunities that the Catskill Mountains have to offer.

Our well-maintained property is very special in that it provides you with a complete mini-resort experience. It is the only property on beautiful, clean, spring-fed White Lake that offers rental guests a sandy beach to swim or soak up the sun while also offering a gazebo and dock patio to relax and enjoy your stay. In addition, we provide non-motorized watercraft for use by our more adventurous guests!
