The house is lovely, large, and the porch has a great view of the river. There's also a nice grassy area down at the river where you can sit and watch life flow past.The kitchen is well-equipped--a big plus for us.

Nice house, beautiful scenery, peaceful location right on the river, surprisingly excellent Italian restaurant (Peppino's) in town. Keep an eye out for deer, especially at dusk... you'll pass 4-5 groups of 3-5 deer on the road to/from the house.

Quaint space that is large and lovely.

The space was large and comfy, the bed was nice and soft. The view of the Delaware River was amazing. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves to the fullest! The host was extremely responsive with a small issue the first day. Would love to stay again!

The perfect getaway when you want to spend time on the river. The place was cozy with a good amount of room for a small group. Being able to walk right down to the river anytime was great. Our daughter just wanted to play there all day. Less than a 10 minute drive into Calicoon for everything you need and so many restaurants. Hope to come back soon!

We had such a nice stay at this location. A small town feel for sure with people wavy at you when you go by. Location from the river was perfect, right across the road. If you want a relaxing get away this is it. Little town is quant with good places to eat and shops. We even had little snow which was perfect for the holiday month of December.

Great Stay. Wonderful home.

Had a great stay here. Gas fireplace is a nice touch. We were there in November and it snowed! It was beautiful. Even saw a bald eagle hanging around the River. House is directly on the River which is amazing. Loft area upstairs is a great hang out spot. Will definitely have to try and come back in the summer since the house is directly on the River!

Nice house, great location. Fireplace was not working, we were looking forward to a fire. Great bar upstairs. Lots of audio/video electronics, which was great. The driveway is very hard to find with the leaves, in the dark. I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful home in a fantastic location!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 day getaway at this marvelous and well provisioned home with great views of the river through the large windows and from the beautiful wrap around deck. The house was very clean and well maintain as were the surrounding grounds. The Wifi, TV, and stereo amenities were a nice touch while relaxing in the evenings. The location was perfect for short trips to the surrounding hamlets of Sullivan County. A nice, quiet location that we'll certainly recommend to friends and family. With the river so easily accessible right out front, we'll be back in the warmer months with the kayaks!

Fishing in the cats

The property was as advertised. Pictures don’t lie. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Spacious and roomie. The kitchen was fully stocked even had tooth picks. Large tvs. Central heating and air. The beds were very comfortable and had ample bedding towels and utensils. Host even supplied maps with fishing locations. Had a great time and will return when weather is better lol

Long weekend get away with toddler

House was not childproof, but my 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed the carpeted home and outdoor porch. Was a stones throw away from the Delaware River where we dipped our toes in the water, watched lots of water fowl, and tadpoles. Variety of chipmunks and squirrels to watch up close and from afar through the various window of the home. Was a nice 4 day 3 night get away from the hustle bustle of our day-to-day living.

Paradise

Calm and serene mixed with a beautiful view. While visiting we encountered deer right in the back yard every morning. The house was clean and appeared just as the pictures showed. The bathroom faucet needed repair but everything else was perfect. Many of my high school friends saw my pictures on Facebook and asked for the link. Living there half my life I forgot the magical beauty of this area. Definitely would stay again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with others.
