Perfect riverside getaway!

The house was perfect, it had everything we needed. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The view was gorgeous and relaxing. The fishing was great. Dawn is a wonderful host and Jordan was extremely helpful during our stay. We will definitely be back.

Awesome views of upper Delaware River

This is a beautiful, secluded home, right on the upper Delaware River, near Lordsville, NY. It is super clean and very comfortable with a great sun room and large screened in porch-both overlooking the river. Super hosts and wonderful experience-highly recommend.

Great location!

My wife and I had a great week here. Being able to go out the door with the river right there was awesome. Saw lots of eagles during our stay. Jacob was very accommodating to all of requests while there. For hikers, Jensen Ledges is just up the road and well worth the climb. I caught 2 fish during the stay right out front. All in all, a great stay!

Beautiful property - exactly what my family needed. The home is very comfortable. We were two to six guests at various points over a seven day vacation. Lots of room for everyone to spread out on the airy porch or interior sunroom and living room. Hancock is close by for canoe-outfitters, grocery store, and restaurants. We kayaked and canoed on the Delaware (aka front yard), hiked to waterfalls and scenic vista less than two miles down the road, and enjoyed tours of the mushroom farm run by the property manager (and his dog Ralph).

Our 21 acre property has been in our family for more than 150 years! We have so many fond family memories, and because we aren't able to visit as much as we'd like, we hope that others can take advantage of everything the "old homestead" has to offer and make their own memories.

What makes this property unique

We are right on the beautiful, scenic upper Delaware River, nestled in the Catskill mountains with a view of Pennsylvania across the river. The river is the state border between New York and Pennsylvania. You have quick access to a private river beach for swimming and fishing. It is always quite fun to swim or walk across the river (when low enough) and say "Now I'm in Pennsylvania!"
