Clean and good location. Kitchen was a little sparse but we made it work. Rotted floorboards on the top deck but let the rental company know and they planned to fix after we left. Otherwise house worked for what we needed and we had a great weekend.

We loved the house! We enjoyed being close to the beach, the hot tub, and comfortable beds! We were three families and we had a great time!

Quick get away

Check in was super easy, most information was done via text. The location was great, a short walk with a pathway directly to the beach. Easy to get around with kids. Easy parking. A perfect trip for a family get away.

Nice home. Worth the price of admission

The home was nice. The proximity to the beach was great! Just a short walk down the 'boardwalk' (157 paces according to my 9 year old) The home was clean. It showed some signs of its age and surely wasn't newly built/renovated, but served us well for what we needed. And thankfully the pics online showed the house accurately. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

Great location

Overall, the location is fantastic and the stay was great, but logistically there were a few detractors, which is why I can only give 4 stars. You need to bring all your own paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels) and there are no hand towels in the kitchen. The kitchen is older too, and we had trouble with the oven not heating properly.

Thank you for your review! We do provide a "starter" set of supplies, which includes a roll of paper towels, a roll of toilet paper, small hand soaps and lotion for each bathroom, a couple of dishwasher tabs and some dish soap. Along with a couple of trash bags and a sponge and dish towel. This is meant for if a group arrives late at night they can get something to eat clean up, use the bathrooms and go to bed. You are right though, there is not enough for your entire stay. The owner does work to the house each year, whether it is new furniture, bedding or windows and paint, we will certainly relay your thoughts on the kitchen to them. We are so happy you had a great stay! We hope to see you again the next time you are on The Outer Banks!

Fantastic location for family or friends!

The location in proximity to the beach is pretty much unbeatable. 60 second walk on the boardwalk max! The house worked perfectly for our needs with a family with young kids and grand parents. The hosts were quick to repair the outdoor shower when we found a split pipe. Communication was super easy. Our only suggestion or advice to the next renters, bring basic seasonings and condiments if you plan to do your own cooking in the house. While cooking essentials (pots, pans, silverware, plates) were provided, there are no other spices or non-perishable foods in the house. Plan accordingly and you’ll have a fantastic time!

Beach Time

Liked the house and it’s access to the beach. We have vacationed in the Outer Banks across many decades. It was a nice return to Nags Head.
