Fabulous Family Retreat

This property was ABSOLUTLY charming! It was everything me and my family were searching for in this weekend retreat. Peaceful, Spacious, Clean! Great place!

We had a great time at this house. Everything was clean and nice. The views were gorgeous. And Dimitrios was a great host...he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Agoro's has excellent food! We enjoyed dining in and we also took pizzas to go.

Lovely property with pretty views of river. Kitchen was our favorite room. It was well stocked with utensil/essentials to prepare a meal. TV/game room is super comfortable and relaxing. Easy check in process. The host was very respectful and thoughtful, checking in by text to make sure all was well.

Great place to unwind

We stayed here for two weeks while in town for a work project. The view is amazing--hard to get much closer to the water without being *in* the water. The owner, Dimitrios, was super accommodating--filled the grill propane before we arrived and responded quickly to anything we needed. Lots of restaurants and things to do within 20 minutes in any direction. Highly recommend this cozy retreat!

Dimitrios and Stacey live in town, have 3 kids and a dog named COCO. They have been married more than a decade and both own their own business from Marketing company called DDL advertising named after their kids (Dalila- Dimitrios- Liliana) . Dimitrios owns his own Restaurant here in town called Agoro's Pizza Bar and Grill.
They love Hosting and Entertaining in there own home. So hosting guests at the River View Retreat is a perfect fit for them.

Why they chose this property

This Property is absolutely Breathtaking and has so much history Behind it. They use to have a Speakeasy on the original 1st floor or Basement unit which I am in the process of restoring it to its former Glory. The area on which the house settles on, was on the Gay street side before we subdivided the property into 2 Lots.. Its called Gay street because they use to get all the Clay from Gay Head Martha's Vineyard and transport there so they could make all the Pottery on site.
