Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at Silver Shells. The condo was just as pictured and had everything we needed, along with some extras like beach chairs, wagon, etc. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The facility was beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this rental and will likely be back!

A welcome getaway!

We have not been to Destin in over 10 years. Chasing grandkids. We took our son and his family this time and we could not ask for any better place, size and location, was great. Check-in was easy and the place was in walking distance from beach and pool.Destin is wonderful. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Rest and revive!

We enjoyed the week immensely! We have stayed at The Silver Shells Resort for years. Check in was easy and people were friendly. This unit was extremely well kept, clean and organized. Appears to have recently had updates. The beds were AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!! We enjoyed dominoes as a family. The pool areas are the best!! Shopping across the road and plenty of restaurants nearby to be able to enjoy our time without have to go too far for anything. We will be staying here again.

Paradise

This was such an awesome place to stay both with littles and adults! A wagon for coolers or littles to the beach which literally takes minutes to be on the beach with no crossing streets! The Back Porch pretty much on our beach! A Tiki bar with drinks and bar staff to take orders both at pool and on beach! Located just in the heart of everything you want to do in Destin! Sandy has a beautiful luxurious place that will put anyone at peace! Soft white sand that never gets hot! So peaceful!!! Thanks Sandy!!

Beautiful Condo/Owner was attentive

Sandy was helpful and answered all my questions quickly! Fortunately, we didn’t have any major issues. The property is in close proximity to restaurants, stores etc... IF you want a balcony view of the beach stay ... see the map for a different buildings in Silver Shells. At first I thought the needed fobs for all the gates were a pain, but quickly realized the security is necessary due to the traffic and location of the resort. Speaking of traffic and wait times at restaurants... it was BUSY! The kitchen was adequately furnished, loved the Keurig option for coffee and the unit had a full sized washer/dryer which was great for towels. St. Lucia pool is rather small but it never seemed crowded if that’s your fave vs the beach. We rented chairs/umbrellas for the week since they didn’t allow you to bring your own tent. Only one working elevator while we were there for a week, which was inconvenient, but that is a resort issue, not on the owner. I have a feeling many complaints were made. I only gave 4 stars out of 5 for cleanliness because there were some dirty dishes put away in the drawers/cabinets when we got ready to use them. TBH, I’ve never stayed at a VRBO unit where that wasn’t the case, so I’m used to checking before I use or eat off dishes, but that’s just me! Again, not on the owner since they aren’t there to inspect everything!

Beautiful Ocean Front Condo

This condo and resort was absolutely stunning. The amenities were great gym tennis courts beautiful pool just to name a few. Access to the private beach was steps away from the condo.My family and I had a wonderful stay

Very nice condo,about a 3 minute walk to ocean.Not to many restaurants in this area but the one's that were around were VERY... 😋 YUMMY.HAD A GREAT TIME...ONWER WAS GREAT,VERY NICE AND ALWAYS PICKED UP THE PHONE... .

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay!! The condo is stocked with anything you could possibly need! There is even a beach cart, chairs, sand toys, ECT. The beds were also very comfortable! Shannon the owner was always quick to respond if I had any questions during our stay. We will definitely be booking again!

The pictures need to be updated. The couch cushions needed a good washing. The tubs seemed to have a thick comet film all over them. The floors had not been cleaned properly either . However, We loved the pools. The showers were very nice& the condo was very spacious. Also very well equipped, but no dishcloth, & was within walking distance to beach.

Silver Shells is a fabulous place with pools, beach access and close proximity to restaurants, shopping and entertainment..our condo was beautiful and we enjoyed the comfortable, relaxing setting..we will consider returning!

We love the Silver Shells Property and the St. Lucia Building!

We've stayed at Silver Shells many times and have stayed at two of the other buildings. We like St. Lucia because it has a really nice grilling area and it's own pool and hot tub which we usually had to ourselves at the end of every day. The condo was clean and looked just as pictured. We do a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. We had seven people in the condo from ages 19 to 59 and there was plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely book this property again.

Family vacation and my daughters surprise engagement

Everything was wonderful!! We loved the condo! So many extras that we didn’t expect like the use of beach chairs, beach toys, and beach wagon. We have been coming to silver shells for 20 years and I this was one of our favorite visits:)

Beautiful condo

We had a very nice stay at this condo. The description was completely accurate. It’s very clean, light and bright, the kitchen is amazingly well-appointed and the owner was super responsive. We had just a little mix up about our parking space- things in life happen- but the amazing part was and when I texted the homeowner, I had an immediately response from her and it was all resolved in just a few minutes. It’s a quick walk to the beach and the pool is beautiful. Our favorite part was watching the sunset each night from the balcony. Will definitely be back!

Great Property!

We had a great time!! Shannon communicated with me quickly on any questions I had. We booked this property and it was sold prior to our stay but our original booking days and prices were honored with no issues. The condo was just as described, easy to get to, and a short walk to the beach and pools. I love that each building had its own small pool and hot tub but there was the main pool as well. The whole experience with this property is great!!
