The Emerald by the Sea Galveston has it all... style, class, and views. The property sits on the Seawall and looks over Stewart Beach. This 2 bedroom/2 bath condo, located at the lavish Emerald by the Sea complex at the east end of the island, is state-of-the-art living/vacationing at its best. The unit is spacious with a large kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer in unit. Great for long term stays and not having to go to a laundry facility to wash clothes! Only one city block walk to Stewart Beach. Or you can drive down to the beach ($13 park entrance fee). Take advantage of the complex amenities such as a 166' infinity pool,  a movie theater, indoor game room, a wine room for private parties, and state-of-the-art fitness center.


EMERALD BY THE SEA

Emerald by the Sea is a 14-story resort community, located directly on Seawall at Broadway, in the heart of the East End of Galveston Island, and offers breathtaking panoramic Gulf views and jaw-dropping sunsets. Most homes at the Emerald offer private Gulf-facing balconies, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area. The Emerald offers so many amenities, you may never need to leave; including a 6th-floor terrace with a 166′ heated infinity rooftop pool, fitness center, game room, movie theater, wine room for private parties, several lounge areas and a parking garage.

Create your own adventures with beach gear and golf cart rentals, a sunset cruise or a bonfire and smores on the beach. Gulf Coast Concierge also offers fishing charters, photo sessions, and a variety of in-home services. If you can dream it, we will do our best to make it happen!

Some of the properties Ryson manages require additional fees for things like parking passes, resort fees, amenity wristbands, etc. be paid to the HOA upon arrival directly. Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.


EXTENDED STAYS

Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Poorly managed by Rental Management
There were only two properties left to rent during the time frame I desired at the Emerald, which I love dearly and plan to move to in the near future. I have owned a condo at the Emerald in the past and love the property. This condo was suitable until you attempted to start using anything. The washing machine filled with water, and that was it leaving me with soaking wet and soapy clothes. I called Ryson, and they came out, said it needed replacement and suggested that I take these clothes still submerged in soapy water to a laundry mat. I didn’t even know how I could transport them as they were very heavy. Thanks to Emerald management, they supplied a bucket and allowed me to wash in a machine on the property. The machine was never replaced during my stay. There is no hot water in the master shower. Water leaks from all hardware in master bathroom. The oven is almost falling apart so when you try to open door, it takes a bit to get it to close properly. There is no measuring cup (had to improvise with blender), mixing bowl (had to improvise with food storage containers, and no scissors. It is a half stocked kitchen in other words. I stopped trying to cook after making one breakfast. The Emerald is an amazing property, but this condo lacks the conveniences most other condos offer on the property due to lack of maintenance.

Better units at Emerald
Washer broke and door wouldn’t lock. Stayed the last night up all night because door wouldn’t lock. Maintenance was not available and no one at front desk. Needs touch up paint and new furniture.
