Really great place to stay. We enjoy having the pool and all amenities. The town center is walking distance which I did a few times and loved walking the streets, people watch at the plaza, getting food from local vendors, so good! Everything was clean except the microwave when we arrived which I ended up cleaning myself before using as it smelled, but besides that we had everything we need it. I would consider staying again.

We stayed 12 nights, and unfortunately the property had numerous issues. The shower constantly backed up, even after maintenance poured bleach down the drain. A toilet clogged, and rainwater leaked into the living room whenever it rained. We encountered ants, spiders, a black centipede, and ticks that bit us.The kitchen was poorly equipped. Utensils were cheap, burned or melted; pots and pans were badly scratched; and knives were so dull some couldn't cut tomatoes, with some missing their tips. No paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, washcloths, salt, pepper or drinking water were provided—not even water for morning coffee (or coffee). We received just two small rolls of toilet paper for two bathrooms. We purchased ALL these missing supplies ourselves, plus batteries because most TV remotes didn't work.The stove ran out of gas on our second night, so we couldn't make breakfast the next morning. It was replaced that day, and I carried the cylinder myself rather than have Ms. Ceci haul it uphill.Ms. Ceci was absolutely wonderful—sweet, kind and immediately responsive every time we called. She deserves five stars! But her excellent service couldn't make up for the leaks, pests, worn equipment and lack of basics. I understand rentals don't provide everything, but guests shouldn't have to buy virtually every household necessity. The property needs better upkeep and preparation.

Nice house

The house is well maintained the cameras don't bother me it makes me feel safe. Having the pool was a huge convenience. I got to dip in a whole day. Will definitely come back if available.

I love the house is very comfortable the people in charge the house is very nice and always there when I need help I can give 5 stars to them the only I don’t like is the chairs because I afraid to seat I thought is going to break and same other insident but people are whantherfull they there to resolve the problem I can go again.

Pleasant stay!

First impression was the guards at the entrance where kind and very informative. Then we got to the house and in order to enter there was a smart lock which was pretty cool. We entered the house and it was very very clean. The beds where great. AC in every room which is a plus in El Salvador. Has every necessary electronic device. There’s always room for improvement, for example on the property there were many cameras. I understand the importance of safety but I also need enjoy the feeling of privacy. It felt like we were being watched. The ones we saw where the was the ones located in the laundry room, and the backyard. We were very excited that the property had its own private pool. The kids only got to use it once since we followed the instructions provided for the pool. After they got out of the pool, there hands where starting to peel off because of all the Clorox and chemicals in the pool. So we did not use it anymore. Like I said, it was a pleasant stay at Opico Gardens, whenever we return I will have in mind staying here once again.
