What an experience. We really enjoyed our getaway. Waking up early in the morning and seeing cows in the backyard while enjoying q cup of coffee. The little signs all over the property answering the questions one may have makes it a lot easier for the guests and we know what to expect. The grill area, is just amazing. I grill a lot and I’m jealous about this grill just quick and efficient super clean which makes it a lot easier to cook. Then at night being able to turn off the lights and looking at the sign that gives instructions to wait for 5 minutes so that our eyes could adapt. and see the stars on top of the silo. It was just a great experience to spend with my kids and something that we will remember for the longest time. Last but not least… Bart… he just made my kids day everyday and they wanted to play with him the whole time. Great experience overall and for those that need some peace and quite look no further Sunshine Farm is the place to be at.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

About the host
Hosted by Heather Weinbender
Almost 130 years ago, with the single shot of a pistol, our great grandfathers led their families across the plains in the Oklahoma Land Run. The Gosneys and Ratzlaffs staked their claims, separately, in what is now Major County. With their homesteads distanced by twenty miles of unfamiliar terrain and separated by the rugged Gloss Mountains, chances are our ancestors never met. But they endured similar circumstances – drought, storms, insect infestations, crop disease, the Dust Bowl, war, the Great Depression, illnesses and personal loss; we are the benefactors of their perseverance. Today, Sunshine Farm (and John's Farm) are the only family owned/operated, real organic project and USDA organic certified, animal welfare approved and USDA verified grass-finished farm in Oklahoma. That’s a mouthful, but it matters to those who care deeply for the land and the animals the land feeds. We are the Owners, John & Kris Gosney. Sunshine is Hosted by Evan & Rhesa Funk
