A stand-alone studio, your accessible rental includes convenient features like a roll-under cooktop as well as a roll-under vanity and roll-in shower in the bathroom. It is also a 5-star Built Green property!

Local shops and eateries are within walking distance, and the Allenmore Golf Course and Allenmore Hospital are only a few blocks away.

South Cedar Escape

We rented this house for 11 days. It is clean and although nestled in between other homes we had privacy and it was quiet. Out granddaughter loved visiting the goats, ducks and chickens at the adjoining property. The owners are available should you need them but don't pester you. Check-In and Out are easy. The TV service lags on occassion.

What a GORGEOUS farm studio!

My Fiance and I stayed for 2 nights and absolutely LOVED it. We were in Tacoma for our birthdays and for the Washington State Comicon. The home was a refreshing, clean and comfortable place to lay our heads after our busy days. We definitely will stay again if Tacoma beckons us un the future.

A dream place

We absolutely loved the quaint, cute, and quiet place to stay during our road trip. It was a great first experience of Tacoma. The neighbors were very welcoming and sweet. They showed us their baby ducks and the goats were always fun to watch.

The house was beautiful & very clean! It was perfect for our weekend trip. We hit a snag with Vacasa who was handling all the questions for the property owner. They weren’t very good at troubleshooting our problem with the keypad entry code, but we eventually managed to get in. About half hour later we received a call from the owner and she was very kind & we appreciated the call! :) luckily we only required the house for an overnight stay because there wasn’t any WiFi available and our service was very sooty but we loved the house & its surroundings. We felt secluded and had our own privacy even though the house was behind another one. Definitely would stay here again if we’re ever in the area despite our small issue with the keypad.

Cute little house

This property was small, but cute. It was just enough for what we needed for the weekend. We had a refrigerator to store leftover food. A comfortable bed & couch, even a full stove. Signs were provided for locating the property as well a designated labeled parking spot for the property. We will stay here again.

Overnight Stay

The home was so cute & cozy! We loved that it felt private even though it’s directly behind a home & the garden definitely made it feel like we were in our own space! We had a concert which led to our stay & loved the property! We had an issue with the keypad on the door & the company (Vacasa) that the property owner uses was not good about troubleshooting the issue for us. We used the texting service which wasn’t very helpful & when we contacted someone via phone they weren’t clear on instructions which was stressful & inconvenient. We did receive a phone call from the property owner after the fact & we loved that she followed up with us. It made up for the lack of help with Vacasa. All in all, we loved our stay & would definitely recommend staying here & would love to stay here again if we are ever in the area again!

I would definitely stay here again. The little house seemed almost brand new, and was very clean. I am a medium-level woodworker, and was struck by the level of craftsmanship throughout the house. Beautiful cabinets and trim everywhere. Decent bed, nice couch and chairs, great shower. Good HVAC system and ceiling fan. The house is located in a safe, but well-worn neighborhood, and was a bit hard to find, even with Apple maps. It’s a short drive up a gravel driveway toward the back of the property. As a result of its location, the cottage is a little island of rural calm. There is nothing within walking distance, but shops and restaurants are about a 10 minute drive. We found the experience to be charming. Recommendation: bring your own coffee.

Great rental property!

We loved staying at this property. It was in a great neighborhood, easy to access and private off the road. It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen, all the amenities were on point. I loved the layout of the property and how big it was for a back house property. The bathroom& kitchen were so spacious and the living area was cozy and comfortable. Everything was modern and easy to use and there was plenty of closet and drawers to keep your personal items in so we did not have to keep using our luggage. Check in and out was a breeze and very covenant. We will definitely rent again when in the Tacoma area.

Beautiful place and great location

The cottage a good set up and the location was convenient to everything you would need in Tacoma. The induction range was difficult to use and not have enough pots and pans that would work with it. We I did not like that when I texted management I would initially get an automated response. Once I heard from a live person they were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing Little Spot!

The property was clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed! The hosts were a kind and accommodating. We had a wonderful time while lounging at the home and it was right next to all we needed. Safe and tranquil, but also nearby enough to restaurants and night life. Perks for being so close to the Tacoma Done as well since we were in town for a concert (My Chemical Romance). I would gladly stay there again.

Great location and adorable home

We had a big event at the Tacoma dome and this place was a short drive away. The house was so tastefully decorated and it was easy to unwind and relax. The bed was sooooo comfy too! We will stay here again when we come back in a couple months.

This place is fantastic!! Clean as can be. Open floor plan, bright and airy, with clean everything and everything supplied that one could need. Quality appliances, handicap accessible entry ramp, kitchen, bathroom and living area. Low Murphy bed and lots of storage cabinets. Well-marked and well-lit for late arrivals. I'm definitely staying here next I'm in Tacoma!!

Cozy and clean and convenient

The studio is clean and is well equipped. Very nice decor. The next door neighbors have goats and chickens and my grandson enjoyed watching them. Also the neighbors were kind and gave us grease eggs. The blueberries are ripe and we were able to pick fresh blackberries. I enjoyed my stay and will look to see if it is available for my next stay. I highly recommend this studio if you need somewhere to park you and family in the Tacoma area.
