Softball tournament

Great location to everything. Downtown is super cute with lots to do. Excellent restaurants nearby and in a cozy area! Definitely felt at home and safe.

My youngest daughter was graduating from McNeese. Our family came in from Houston to celebrate with her. As natives to Lake Charles, we really loved the place and location. It was convenient and plenty of room. We would love to stay here again in the future when visiting family!

Meeting of 3 friends (was 4 but one had to cancel) from 40 years ago. We loved the property. It was everything we wanted and made our stay perfect.

Excellent VRBO stay!

Cody and Cara's Clarence Getaway was perfect for our long weekend in Lake Charles to attend a nephew's wedding. The accommodation was just as it is pictured in the listing – modern, clean and bright. Just the right size for a family, and very convenient to downtown Lake Charles. The Clarence Getaway Welcome App was really useful, nice to have Wifi, the coffee-maker and enough towels! The tv remotes/connections were a bit spotty, but overall a great accommodation. Thank you!

Tennis Weekend

Great place to stay for small group. Nice decor, colors and large TV's. Had plenty of towels, kitchen furnished including Keurig coffee pot and Keurig cups. This may sound silly to some but the toilet paper was good too, not that cheap one ply rough stuff. LOL! My only complaint was the bath rug in the master bath didn't have the rubber on the bottom so I almost fell trying to get out of the shower onto a slippery rug. Would definitely recommend a non-slip rug there. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

Great for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I were visiting our son and his girlfriend for New Years and it was great! The property was easy to get to and it was quiet! Neighbors were friendly and said hello anytime they were outside, which was lovely. My son lives within walking distance to this property which made it a great choice, but it's also within walking distance to downtown. We ventured out to all the downtown venues and eateries. The bed in the master room was VERY comfortable and we both slept very well. It was great having all the amenities of home. We were able to hang out at our place or there's depending on what we decided to do that evening. One more great detail was when I messaged the property owners they responded immediately!! Some of the questions were very simple to answer and another was a bit more challenging involving the television. But it all worked out!! They were fantastic! We will definitely stay again!

GREAT PLACE PERFECT LOCATION

What more could we ask for? The place was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The hosts had great communication and the location was fantastic! The neighborhood was also nicer than I expected!! I would totally stay there again if I ever went back to Lake Charles! If I had to give one suggestion, it would be to stock the kitchen a little better. The skillet was so tiny that we had to do 3 batches of scrambled eggs for this bunch!!! LOL!!! Thanks for your hospitality!

You will love it here

I have the pleasure of staying at this property for a weekend. The property was lovely and decorated perfectly. I felt like I was staying in a model home. The location is walking distance from the the water and multimillion dollar homes in downtown Louisiana. The area is super safe and quiet in the evening. And the owner was super responsive to all of my questions and request and went above and beyond to accommodate my ask. I will definitely stay here again and if you were thinking about it, you should too!

Stayed at this precious townhouse for my daughter’s prom since we live out of town. Very clean, quiet neighborhood and perfect location. Host was quick to answer questions. Highly recommend.

Great location / Great host

Killer location right across the road from the Civic Center and also within walking distance to several great restaurants. The host was very fast and superb with communication. We had an internet issue when we arrived and Cody worked his tail off to get a technician there in a timely manner and was very quick to respond to all of my messages. We'll be back next year!

The property was beautiful and clean and met our needs! The pictures don’t do the townhouse justice as it is beautifully decorated, and a home away from home. Our communication with the owners was excellent! Each time we reached out with a question or a need, he immediately responded and acted on any of our requests! This was a nice place to relax & gather with the family. Many things within walking distance. We especially enjoyed the lake & park being 1 block away. Each day we walked along the lake/park. The neighborhood beyond the lake park offered sidewalks, beautiful southern style homes with exquisite oak trees & tucked away Drew Park for additional serenity. The townhome was spacious, clean & modern. We each had ample personal space along with spacious places to gather. The carport parking at the back door was convenient. The Brita water filter was appreciated so that we didn't need to buy bottle water. Also nice that it was filled, chilled & ready to go upon arrival. Communicating with host Cody was easy & prompt. We will book again the next time we visit Lake Charles.

Beautiful Property and Great location in Lake Charles

I've rented from VRBO for years, and last year I was scammed during spring break for my kids so with that being said, this property was AMAZING! Location, Location, Location!!! The pictures don't' do this place justice! The master bed was the most comfortable bed I've laid on in years. The master tub, wow. I could go on and on about this place. Keurig machine stocked and ready. If I'm ever in Lake Charles again, I'm staying here hands down! This place has restored my trust in VRBO.

We came to town for a wedding. The location was perfect. In downtown and close to the casinos and wedding venue. My husband loved the king bed in the primary. House was clean. Would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Lake Charles.

Convenient Cozy Place To Stay

A quick trip to Lake Charles for a wedding. This place is a must. Super convenient to everything and very safe. If you do have seniors staying with you the rooms are upstairs so that’s the only negative to consider. Overall a five star place to stay.
