Great Place!

Cottage was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Our group loved the decor and the amenities. Our host was very thoughtful! We had to leave early due to the Hurricane Helene, Jennifer was still great and caring during our short time there. We plan to return!!

This is a great place for a quick getaway. Very comfortable and clean. Far enough out so it is quiet but still close to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. Everything we needed was on hand. We’ll be back.

Peaceful Getaway

I needed to get away from the city and it was Spring Break for my teenager. We stayed in this lovely cottage just outside of Hendersonville and only a short drive to Asheville. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was so cute and quaint. The surrounding were peaceful (absolutely no traffic noises). The weather was perfect for April. The host checked in with us the first day and was super nice! I would definitely stay here again.

A Warm Welcome

It was a pleasure meeting Jennifer upon our arrival and coming across one another during my family’s stay. We visited the Sour Granny and throughout the home there are positive words of affirmation around the beautiful cottage. The space is well lit during the day with natural lighting. Then at night the indoor lighting helps brighten specific rooms! My family and I enjoyed cooking together our meals, as the TV showed our favorite shows on the Roku. In the sour granny the furniture is comfy, bedrooms spacious, bathroom stocked with the essentials, dishes/utensils/kitchen-ware/etc. was clean, and the temperature system works amazing! For sure Jennifer was a wonderful host, and recommended to us some wonderful places we visited while staying at the cottage. Our family feels grateful to have met North Carolina the way we did for our vacation.

I am a Hendersonville native. I have never taken this beautiful place that I live for granted. The charm and beauty of this place is why people are flocking to soak it up. I love that I can show hospitality and facilitate others being able to enjoy my hometown and the surrounding areas.

Why they chose this property

This location is less than 10 minutes from Interstate 26 which helps you get to Asheville and all its amazing little surrounding towns. While on this little paved street, each cottage has its own privacy and is surrounding by woods. You feel like you are up in the mountains, yet you are close to all the best wineries, breweries, restaurants, orchards, hiking, kayaking, biking, and so much more.

What makes this property unique

I made each cottage an experience that I myself would love to stay in. They are each decorated personally with how I enjoy living....easy luxury. I'm proud to share these cottages with my friends and other guests. It makes me happy to see people appreciate my hometown.
