Always enjoy staying here. The property manager is always very helpful with the answers to your questions. Very pleasant to talk to. Look forward to staying here again in the future.
While our pup ended up staying at our home, this would have been a great home for any dog to stay. Doggie door and great outdoor space with a fence.
We would stay again!
We came up for Round-Up and the tour of the courthouse. This house did not disappoint us as it was just like the pictures describe. Awesome host as she answered every message in a timely fashion. Will stay here again.
This house was perfect for our stay. The location was great, the beds were comfortable and the owner was easy to reach when we had questions. The off street parking was a nice bonus.
Was a very cozy house, nice and clean and great location.

Really cute little house, very comfortable, spotless. Made our stay in Mason for the solar eclipse extra special. The house is old and retains some of that charm, but has been updated enough to be very pleasant and usable. Highly recommended!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with this place. Super dog and human friendly and in a great location just a couple of minutes’ walk from the town square. Clean and well stocked with everything you need.
It was a fantastic stay - when we first arrive there was a slight issue - it was taken care of in 15 minutes- the beds were very comfortable-everything was clean and comfortable- we will definitely stay again💕
Wow! The wildflowers are out like a storm! Same friendly town and people. Great place to visit and this little blue house is always great to stay at. Very dog friendly with very fenced yard : )
More winery tasting rooms now -visit Murphy Creek on the Square - or 'Lisa's Wine Bar' as we call it - great people!
Charming 2 bedroom 2 bath home.Great kitchen to work in.Walking distance to the square. It was great to be able to bring our dogs with us. Instructions for use of the cottage were clear and direct. It was very cold that weekend, but the house stayed warm and comfortable. Found out the house next door is also a VRBO, but I don’t believe they allow dogs. Found that out by surprise because my husband’s Aunt and cousin rented it.
Stayed the weekend with my family. We all had a great time. Perfect yard for our husky. Thank you for sharing this house! So warm and welcoming—we will be back soon!
Hi, I'm Polly, your host. I own Dogologie in Fredericksburg, about 30 minutes from Mason. This is our second home, and we have hunting property in the county, so we use the home regularly ourselves. We also have Dogologie Haus in Fredericksburg, a popular dog-friendly vacation rental. We have two dogs, M and Max, who live with us in Fredericksburg.
Why they chose this property
We love this home because it's cute, comfortable, and close to the town square where most of the restaurants, wine tasting rooms, wine bars, a microbrewery and other activities are located. We love to eat at Santos and Square Plate, and get a glass of wine at Sandstone Cellars.
What makes this property unique
The outdoor wrap-around patio is a great feature, with a separate dining and living area. Bring your telescope, as we are in Dark Skies territory, so we have placed red string lights to provide a safe glow without disturbing your stargazing experience.
We are dog-friendly, with a dog cleanup station, dog-friendly furnishings, and a safely fenced yard. We also provide bowls and bottled water for your dogs to use during their stay.
