Kanopolis Lake Fishing, Boating, Hiking, Hunting, Horseback Riding

Welcome to our lakehouse where the opportunities for relaxation or adventure awaits. Within 1/2 mile of the lakehouse, there is an ATV trail, 7 hiking/biking/horseback riding trails, wildlife viewing area, and a boat launch to get you out onto the water. "Knop" also has two public beaches, a playground, and seasonal marina.

Premium Central Kansas habitat surrounds the lake with approximately 16,000 acres of public hunting for all your DIY deer, turkey, upland, and waterfowl hunters.

Our cozy 2 bed 1 bath lakehouse also has a 1 bed 1 bath guest suite connected by a covered porch. The main level of the lakehouse has one bedroom (queen bed), a living room with a sleeper sofa, smart TV, and a dry bar. The upstairs has 1 bedroom (queen bed and cot), 1 bathroom, a dining room with smart TV, and a kitchen with access to the deck with a spacious view! The guest suite consist of a king bed, smart TV, and a private bathroom.

We have a Keurig if you'd like to bring your own K Cups. We also have a traditional coffee pot, air fryer, griddle, and crockpot in the kitchen. We do NOT have Wifi or cable, but you can hot spot your phone to the TVs.

A great place to relax and enjoy being at the lake

We spent a week relaxing at the home. Levi was awesome during all communications and when we had a complication, he was over quickly to troubleshoot and fix it. We Really enjoyed sitting out on the patio listening to the birds.

Bright spot of a very rainy weekend!

Very nice clean property. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked. We stayed Friday through Monday morning. Due to the weather, we had to stay pretty close to the property. Plentyof space to relax and spend time with friends! Levi was very responsive to questions when preparing for our stay! Great communication!!

Nice place to stay at Kanopolis Lake!

We really enjoyed our stay! Nicely furnished little home and the separate master was perfect for our family. The kids could stay up playing uno and Mom & Dad could enjoy a movie and some much needed alone time after a long day of exploring all the neat areas around the lake. The bathroom and kitchen in the main house are up a pretty steep flight of stairs but the house was clean, the beds were very comfortable and we hope to visit again and wpuld definitely stay here again! We were able to see deer and turkeys from the house and yardsome!.

The house was clean and organized and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals. The BBQ grill was great too! The air conditioner was nice and cold, beds were comfortable. The patio area is very nice , we enjoyed our entire evening on the patio. The hosts were very helpful ! We will recommend to anyone looking to stay at Kanopolis lake.

Fit our needs

We used this as our base as did exploring on The Big Kansas Road Trip. The layout was a little different than I had imagined but it worked out fine. The patio was great.

Excellent communication from Levi! Great location, dog loved the walk around the property. Only thing to note is no Wi-Fi but our Verizon got spot via fine worked well enough to run a virtual meeting! 5 stars!

Just right for big families!

There is a nice park within biking distance our 1 1/2 year old loved. There is a nice zoo within 30 minutes of the property that was a nice day trip. The only down fall was the nearest gas station was around 30 minutes away so plan your fuel trips accordingly. Our family of 6 fit just fine with bed space to spare

Very nice , quiet place , reminds me of a cabin in Colorado we use. Thank you for sharing it with us . We was just wanting to get away off the farm for the weekend and thought we go to state fair . It was nothing but a mud hole and parking lot was full so we went to salt mine instead so your little cabin was perfect for me and my wife and our son and his girlfriend. Me being 64 years old it was perfect and my son being 24 years old we both had privacy and wasn’t in each others way . Would I stay again? Yep definitely. Hopefully we followed your rules as we left and made it easy for the maid to prepare for the next ones stay .
