Come and recharge your batteries in the heart of the Pyrenees in the charming village of Argut-Dessus, an authentic mountain hamlet located at an altitude of 900 metres, in an exceptional natural environment.

Lovers of nature, hiking and the great outdoors, you will be seduced by the timeless charm of this village with stone houses and narrow streets typical of the Pyrenees. Between mountains, forests and unspoilt landscapes, Argut-Dessus is an invitation to disconnect and discover.
"Chez Païen", so named in memory of its very old owners, is a house freshly renovated with care to offer you a stay as friendly as it is warm.

The accommodation
The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and consists of:

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and share good meals, and in addition you will find:

You can easily unload your luggage in front of the house when you arrive. Due to the configuration of the village and its narrow streets, parking in front of the accommodation is not possible. A car park is available near the church, just a few minutes' walk away, and a second one at the entrance to the village.

Argut-Dessus is a destination for all seasons.

In spring and summer, enjoy an ideal setting for hiking, cycling, mountain walks and outdoor activities: rafting, tree climbing, paragliding... a few minutes by car.

In autumn, go mushroom picking and let yourself be surprised by the unique spectacle of the deer's bellow at nightfall.

In winter, snow sports enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity of the Mourtis ski resort.
The privileged location of the village, close to Spain (less than 30 minutes), Saint-Béat and many famous tourist sites, also makes it an ideal starting point to explore the Pyrenees.
For example, the cathedral of Saint-Bertrand de Comminges, the seaside resort of Bagnères de Luchon and its Lys valley...
