A new and authentically restored holiday apartment awaits you at Genusswerk Zeil (see Internet)

Antique half-timbering had to be preserved, old masonry was restored and partially uncovered. Many old style elements have been retained. Sloping floors, stocky beams, Franconian sandstone masonry and centuries-old cellar vaults characterize the property from the 17th Century.

The combination of truss, floorboards and high-quality, modern interior design create a unique atmosphere of wellbeing.

The sunny terrace in front of the house invites you with a good glass of Franconian wine to an incomparable view of the richly decorated half-timbered houses and the Alte Freyung in the good parlor of the old town.

The Genusswerk Zeil houses two holiday apartments - each on the upper floor and the upper floor - and an event kitchen with a bakery on the ground floor. Our kitchen invites you to cooking and baking courses on selected Saturdays during the day.

Carpe Diem apartment on the top floor

A unique atmosphere is created in the open-plan attic by combining a wonderful oak floor with the exposed, historic oak rafters.

The bathroom offers you a walk-in shower, vanity, toilet, washer dryer, towel radiator and ventilation system.
In the bedroom you will receive a high quality double bed (180 x 200) and a closet for your clothes and utensils. High quality slatted frames and mattresses let you rest well here.

In front of the bedroom in the oriel of the roof is the modern kitchen with fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, gourmet oven, dishwasher and ventilator. At the kitchen counter you will find two comfortable bar stools to relax, cook together, enjoy a glass of wine or plan your next vacation. From there you can enjoy an incomparable and spectacular view over the roofs of the city.

After the open kitchen you will find the dining table with four comfortable chairs, which invites you to enjoy a good Franconian snack with a good beer from the local Göller brewery or to review what you have experienced.

In the adjoining living room, the eventful day can end on the comfortable sofa bed (115 x 200) and the two armchairs with good conversations or with a book. For media entertainment you will find a TV with Telekom Entertain, a Blue-Ray player and a hi-fi system. If you would like to go online briefly, you have access to the in-house high-speed WiFi throughout the apartment. A selection of books is available for reading enthusiasts.
