Foothills Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and had ample parking. Not only were all the usual necessities provided, but there were also some surprise snacks awaiting us. The home is conveniently located and our host was very informative and helpful with quick responses. We enjoyed mine tours, train museums, hiking, and shopping. The Crystal Hermitage Gardens made a perfect backdrop for family photos and our out-of-state relatives particularly enjoyed the area. We're all looking forward to a return visit.

GORGEOUS!

My family was looking for a cozy and relaxing place to celebrate my little ones birthday. This place checked all the boxes and more. I highly recommend staying here! We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Home

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for a month and truly wish I could have stayed longer. It’s nestled up among the pine trees with a complete private feeling yet a super short 5 min drive to Nevada City. Every attention to detail and warmth of the inside decor did not go unnoticed - definitely a wonderful “home away from home” (if not better). The host was absolutely incredible to work with, super accommodating, and available for anything during my stay. I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Great stay

Well-stocked, great amenities, clean and cozy home. Geeta was very responsive. The game room was a plus. Our only feedback is to have more lighting in the game room because it’s quite dark downstairs. We absolutely enjoyed our stay - thanks Geeta for your hospitality!!!

I'm a blessed mommy to 4 beautiful babies. My husband & I have been happily married for 19 years. My passion to serve others led me to become a Nurse so I can help others. I recently launched our company: Jeevikasa Luxury Inns, which aims to serve guests with a luxurious yet comfortable stay.

I am excited to host guests from all over the world while they relax and enjoy their vacation.

Why they chose this property

Our home is very special as it is a custom built home from the 70's by the Lancaster family of Nevada City. It sits on 1 Acre and is surrounded by beautiful tall redwoods and pines. The home has been updated with beautiful touches. We took over the home in December of 2021 and have furnished it with Mid Century Modern Decor to stay true to the homes time period.

This property has something for everyone all year round. For the Winter, we often get snow storms and the property is super cozy with 2 wood fireplaces and a cozy fire pit for those cool nights. For the Spring and Summer months, our guests can enjoy the near by Lake for Camping, fishing, water skiing and more. Additionally, you will be pleased to find many award winning wineries, restaurants and local attractions such as the Empire Mine only minutes from our home. Lefty's grill is a very popular restaurant with excellent late brunch with seating over deer creek. During Christmas time, Nevada City holds it's annual Victorian Christmas and hosts thousands of excited guests from all over. If you want more, then you will surely enjoy all the special shops and boutiques Nevada City has to offer.
