Charming half-timbered house in the countryside

Every visitor likes this house.
Fully and ecologically restored, this house offers the charm of a half-timbered house from the 18th century paired with modern living comfort.

Inside we offer an open living-dining area and an adjoining kitchen. Large patio doors connect the interior with the terrace, which is oriented to the west. Beams on view and a fireplace provide a good ambience. Stylishly adapted furniture discreetly round off the ambience.
There is deliberately no TV, but WiFi throughout the house.

On the upper floor there is a large bedroom (double bed 140x200 cm) as well as a toilet and bathroom.

In the attic there is another bedroom (double bed 160x200 cm) and a large bathroom with tub, shower and toilet. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant indoor climate.

A beautiful home with a spacious living area, clean sanitary, very well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a garden. It was ideal for our stay with a 1 year old, for whom there was a travel bed provided. Only thing we missed was a high chair for her. The nearby cities Göttingen and Einbeck were very nice and we had beautiful hikes in the Solingen national park.

A week in Schnedinghausen

The property was in a village and was a timber and brick traditional building. The village had limited amenities, but was well located for visiting local towns: we visited Gottingen, Goslar, Einbeck, Hanover. Einbeck was a pleasant surprise as we were not aware of it and enjoyed the "pub crawl", following a route marked by barrels round the town. Gottingen botanic garden is historic, but not in perfect maintenance. Hanover Berggarten was worth a trip - the only place I have ever been to to get winter flowering orchids to flower in summer. The week was very hot for the time of year and it was good to spend time relaxing in the cool of the house.

wir hatten eine interessante Urlaubswoche, denn diese Gegend kannten wir nicht. Sehr gut hat uns gefallen, dass auch Fahrräder zur Verfügung standen. Das Haus ist schön und auch funktional eingerichtet.

Ruhige Lage - Erholung pur

Perfektes Wetter und schöne Ausflüge ließen uns eine schöne Urlaubswoche erleben. Das Haus hatte alles, was man brauchte.

Super Unterkunft

Das Haus war super, mit viel Platz und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Für gemütliche Stunden bei kaltem Wetter sorgte ein Kamin, für den ausreichend Holz vorhanden war. Auch der Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Grill war vorhanden. Es war alles super, vielen lieben Dank

Prima verblijf

Groot huis waar het samen met 1 dochter prima vertoeven was. Het bed op de 1e etage is wel een klein 2-persoonsbed. Voor de rest kun je zien dat het een oud vakwerkhuis is wat hier en daar wat achterstallig onderhoud kent. Een magnetron in de keuken werd wel gemist. En als er dan geen TV is, verwacht je wel heden ten dage een uitstekend werkende wifi, maar daar was geen sprake van. De eigenaar deelde dat vlak voor vertrek aan ons mee, maar is er wel mee bezig. Toch wel bijzonder. Het heeft voor ons tot extra kosten geleid. En dat de tuinman op de 1e vakantiedag om 7.30 uur onverwacht in de tuin aan het werk gaat, vonden wij wel wat vreemd. Ook de schoorsteenveger kwam nog langs en heeft zijn klusje geklaard. Wat je bij bepaalde wind/weer 's avonds in de slaapkamers wel goed kan horen is het verkeer op de snelweg. Kortom...2 weken waren voldoende om het huis en de omgeving te verkennen....

Danke für Ihr Feedback. Es gilt zu bemerken, dass wir uns frühzeitig und mehrfach darauf hingewiesen haben, dass es ein WLAN Datenlimit gibt, und das hatten Sie mehr als vollständig ausgeschöpft. Man hätte die Info PDF lesen müssen und auch die emails im Vorfeld. Das hat leider technische Ursachen seitens des Anbieters. Es freut uns aber dass Sie sich wohl gefühlt haben und auch die Umgebung während Ihres Aufenthalts kennengelernt haben. In der Beschreibung ist auch keine Mikrowelle angegeben, was also auch vorher bekannt war. Es ist aber eine gute Anregung, die wir gerne korrigieren können. Ich hoffe Sie hatten eine gute Heimreise.

Eine Zeit zum Genießen - Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!

Als Familie haben wir die Zeit in diesem wundervollen Fachwerkhaus sehr genossen! Wir wurden nett empfangen und das Haus hat uns - mit seinen drei Etagen - gut gefallen. Vor allem die überdachte Terasse hat uns in unserer Tagen vor Ort viel Freude gemacht - beim draußen Essen und Sein, selbst bei etwas Regen. Der Ort Schnedinghausen selbst ist wirklich nicht sehr groß. Aber es gibt auch dort einen kleiner Spielplatz und auch sonst sind kleine Hofläden in den Nachbarorten, neben "normalen" Supermärkten, gut zu erreichen. Für wanderfreudige auch zu Fuß, sonst schnell mit Auto oder Fahrrad. Auch andere Ausflugsziele lassen sich gut in eine Ferienwoche einbinden - hier gibt es viele Infos vor Ort. Also, von uns eine Empfehlung für das Charmante Fachwerkhaus!

Ruhe und Erholung

Das Haus hat alles um sich wohlzufühlen.Die Übergabe war gut organisiert. Das Haus ist gut organisiert, praktisch und schön. Alles geschmackvoll. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir konnten von hier schöne Ausflüge machen. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schnell und effizient. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und ich werde das Haus weiter empfehlen.

Schöne Unterkunft in absolut ruhiger Lage

Die Unterkunft ist ein schönes und recht geräumiges Fachwerkhaus in einer ruhigen Umgebung und trotzdem mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Recht ungewöhnlich ist die gemeinsame Decke bei den Doppelbetten, was aber schnell und unkompliziert geklärt wurde.

Tolle Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft war super. Meinen Kollegen hat es sehr gefallen. Leider mussten wir aus Krankheitsgründen ausziehen. Herr Hartmann ist uns freundlicher Weise entgegen gekommen. Ich kann die Fewo nur Empfehlen. Wir werden, wenn wir wieder in der Region sind, die Fewo wieder Buchen. War einfach toll. Danke für alles

Hat doch etwas Arbeit gemacht

Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt angenehm. Check-In und Check-Out waren unkompliziert und gut. Allerdings waren da auch 2 Punkte die nicht so optimal waren. Am ersten Morgen konnten wir den Toaster nicht benutzen, da dieser einen englischen Stecker hat und kein Adapter zu finden war. Der andere Punkt betrifft die Heizung, die anscheinend einen Defekt hat. Nach vielen Versuchen hatten wir zum Schluss uns direkt die Heizung angesehen und festgestellt, das zu wenig Wasser auf der Anlage war. Also Wasser aufgefüllt und dann lief es, jedoch mussten wir diese Prozedur mehrmals wiederholen. Anscheinend ist die Anlage irgendwo undicht.

Schönes Haus

Das Haus ist ein nett renoviertes und geschmackvoll eingerichtestes und somit sehr gemütliches altes Fachwerkhaus in einem kleinen Dorf. Das Dorf selber hat keine Versorgungsmöglichkeiten, so dass ein Auto von Vorteil ist, um in wenigen Minuten umfangreiche Möglichkeiten zu nutzen. Besonders gefallen haben uns der Ofen und der teilüberdachte Innenhof, in dem es sich gemütlich am Feuerkorb sitzen lässt. Das Holz dafür ist auch noch inklusive.

Erholung im charmanten Fachwerk

Eine Woche haben wir zu Viert in dem schönen, individuell eingerichteten, geräumigen Fachwerkhaus in angenehmer Umgebung verbracht.Alles ist so wie abgebildet vorhanden, netter Kontakt zur Vermietung und absolute Wohlfühlatmosphäre ob bei Sonne auf der Terrasse oder am knisternden Ofenfeuer am Abend. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.

Rustig compleet verblijf

Een prachtige woning met veel privacy, alles was aanwezig om zelf te koken en een buitenplaats zonder inkijk, maar de terrasstoelen zaten niet lekker en wij misten 2 lekkere ligstoelen. Maar we zouden zo weer terugkeren!!!

tolles Fachwerkhaus

Ein schönes Fachwerkhaus, einfach, aber toll eingerichtet mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. Geniales Glasdach über der Terrasse - so kann man auch bei Regen draußen sitzen. Ruhige Lage - Auto ist notwendig. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Auszeit auf dem Land

Unsere Urlaubswoche in diesem tollen Haus war einfach perfekt. Das kleine Dorf in der Nähe von Northeim ist absolut idyllisch und ruhig - ein idealer Ort, um den Alltagsstress mal hinter sich zu lassen. Das Haus ist super gemütlich, geschmackvoll und persönlich eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die voll ausgestattete Küche lädt zu entspannten Kochabenden ein. Wir haben uns im gesamten Haus sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt und werden uns noch lange an die gemütlichen Abende vor dem Kamin zurück erinnern. Vielen lieben Dank, auch für die sehr nette Begrüßung und Verabschiedung vor Ort!

Urlaub im Herbst 2019

Als Stützpunkt für Tagesprogramme ist das wohnliche große Haus sehr gut. Buchung, Hilfe vor Ort und Kommunikation mit dem nicht vor Ort wohnenden Eigentümer waren gut. Vermisst haben wir TV und Radiogerät sowie eine Mikrowelle in der Küche.

Beautiful house in beautiful location

This beautiful old house was a perfect place for our family of four to stay for a week. The surrounding area is beautiful, and there are plenty of interesting places to visit within a short drive. It may look small from the outside, but there is plenty of well organised space inside. The house is very comfortable, and all the kitchen equipment you need is available. We took lots of great memories home with us.

Urlaub im Fachwerkhaus

Besonders gut gefallen haben uns der Kaminofen, die Fahrräder, der historische Charakter des Hauses und die überdachte Veranda. Das Haus wirkte sehr sauber.

Das Design der Innenräume ist dort vollständig und komplett dokumentiert und es hat sich seit den Aufnahmen nichts geändert. Es wehre empfehlenswert, das zu buchen, was Ihrem Geschmack entspricht.
