Beautiful Cabin in the woods Allegany County NY

Located in the beautiful southerntier town of Belmont, NY. Close to Wellsville NY for the Trout Derby, Angelica NY for some some antiquing, about 20 minutes from the Tall Pines four wheeling park, and surround by many state lands for hunting. Perfect for a romantic get away, or just a weekend away. Cabin is stocked with a mini fridge, pots, pans, dishes, gas grill, air fryer and dish tv. Available May through mid October. Nice bonfire pit with wood available also. THERE IS NO WI-FI AVAILABLE. It has not yet come to our road.

We had a great time! There isnā€™t much to do in the area, but we found a handful of antique shops about 20 minutes away, so we spent a nice little Sunday walking around Angelica and enjoying those. The cabin itself was very relaxing, and though it didnā€™t have much cell service, it turned out to be the perfect amount. We were reachable by our families if needed, but apps like instagram didnā€™t load so we were able to disconnect just enough. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind for the weekend. Weā€™ll definitely be back!

It was a rustic experience! I needed a reasonably priced place to spend the night when in the area for a high school reunion 20 minutes away. The drive to and from was leisurely on amazingly maintained gravel roads. As I made my way I counted deer who crossed my path or met me in the driveway. One evening it was only 5. Early the next morning it was 17, including 3 spotted fawns with their mamas - a single and a set of twins. The moon was bright and the woods were lovely dark and deep.The hosts were very helpful by way of text messaging when I had a problem gaining access because I hadn't followed their excellent instructions. As to convenience of location - a question this review asks - convenience isn't the point for a hunting cabin in the woods.It was as convenient as it needed to be.

Nice little cabin.

We try to come to the area every year to hunt with with friends. This was a great place for us to stay. Nice location, easy to get to. We'll definitely stay here again.

Awesome place with amazing set up for a weekend stay. Loved that we were away from the crowds but close to town if we needed something. Came up for a sale and got to see balloons launch.

Great vibes; our third stay

We always enjoy staying at Colleen's cabin and are grateful that she opens it for guests! It's a well-done hunting cabin that has a lot more comforts than others in the area. Loved the new appliances and spending mornings and nights on the deck. We bring a wifi hotspot from Simple Mobile and are able to get internet while we're there.
