Nestled on 200 feet of private beachfront, Lattitude Adjustment (Formerly Vine House) was built to entertain! Please note: This property has 3 separate living quarters situated on 1 acre of plush landscaping. This booking is for the main house only. If you book this property, we will not rent out the other living quarters to other guests, so the entire grounds will be exclusively for you. For rental of all 3 living quarters, please see listing #2669075 (sleeps 13). The gated property offers beautiful ocean front views, tropical gardens, a 70+ foot huge patio with pergola and a private pool.
The secluded property is conveniently located to the airport (1 mile) and sits on the private Jimmy Hill beach. The beach is perfect for miles of walking, swimming or just lounging where seeing very few people is the norm. This majestic beach was the location for the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition that included Christy Teigen and Kate Upton.
The recently fully renovated property offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The main house features a huge family room, full kitchen with island and 4 barstools, 10-person dining table, primary bedroom with king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, second bedroom with a queen-sized bed and shared full bath and a bunk room with a king size bed and one twin bunk.
Amenities to the property include a 70” 4k Ultra Flat Screen TV, Xbox; board games; apple TV for use with your streaming services; Blu-ray player and discs; entire house Sonos system where you can enjoy island music both inside and out; Strong wifi throughout the property in addition to CAT 5 wiring direct to the main TV and Sonos allowing for uninterrupted streaming; washer/dryer. Outside amenities include swimming pool; gas grill; (2) kayaks; (2) paddle boards; corn hole boards, hook and ring toss game; large picnic table; patio set that can seat 10 comfortably; shaded pergola; (4) chaise lounge chairs. For the beach there are umbrellas and chairs provided.
Included with the rental is a house manager that will greet you to show you the house and all amenities and will be your point of contact once on island. For an additional fee, the house manager can arrange private chefs, pre-stocking of groceries and on-site massages. They can also recommend restaurants, bars, grocery stores and excursion companies for first-time visitors.
Great Exuma is a laid-back island that doesn’t offer the hustle and bustle of other vacation destinations. There are no stop lights on the island. There are no chain restaurants. Almost all restaurants and other attractions are locally owned.
It’s easy to get here!! There are direct flights to Georgetown, Exuma (GGT) from Nassau, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Charlotte, Atlanta & Toronto.

We had the best time at Latitude Adjustment! The property was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for everyone to chill. The hammocks were a favorite of my sons, they spent hours just relaxing in the hammocks! The only negative was that both of the blenders were broken, we bought stuff to make virgin daquiris for the kids and could not make them - not a big deal at all - just mentioning so owner is aware :) The beach at the house felt like a private beach, we saw very few people the week we were there. The house manager was wonderful, very helpful with any questions that we had.

Absolutely unbelievable in every aspect! We trusted previous reviews when booking, and we were right to! The pictures truly don’t do the beauty of this property justice. The home is incredibly well cared for and the beach views/access are most ideal. Tricia has stocked the home with everything you could possibly want for a beach vacation. We CANNOT speak more highly of Charlene who helped us with everything from check-in, to booking on-site massages and a private chef, to Q&A before and after the trip. Truly she (and previous reviews about the property & her support) are the reason we booked this for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been more impressed!! We are already planning a trip back for our 1 year wedding anniversary. You definitely have enough space for 3 couples/a family here, but it is also PERFECT for a couples getaway. The area is so safe - we walked 5 min down the beach to Tim’s and had delicious food and drinks on several nights. Highly recommend booking a full-day excursion (Charlene can help you with this!) to see more of the islands and do activities (swimming pigs, nurse sharks, conch diving, iguana island). The property and water is beautiful beyond description. Everything is so so clean and gorgeous. The only bad thing about this place is having to leave it!! THANK YOU EXUMA, TRICIA, and CHARLENE!!! We are leaving with the best memories and plans to return.

Absolutely amazing stay!!

We loved our stay at this property so much. The beach was stunning and so private. We loved drinking our coffee at the cabana every morning while we watched breathtaking sunrises. Beautiful Property!

Very spacious, bright and excellent location. Large outdoor seating areas for a large group if needed. Plenty of sun and shade as well. Steps away from a beautiful soft sand beach. Easy check in, and accommodating! Only problem was dishwasher which was not working. There were only 3 of us so it wasn’t a big problem, if our group was larger it would be inconvenient .

Latitude adjustment

This was the first time going to Exuma and the first time renting this property. Everything was absolutely perfect. Check-in was a breeze and the house manager was there and explains everything about the property to us. The house was lovely. It is right on the beach. The gazebo was wonderful to sit outside and watch the ocean from. The location was a 10 out of 10. Quick drive to the airport. It was centrally located to go to every other beach on the island. I can’t say enough good things about the property and the house. I will definitely rent this house again!

Excellent stay on Exuma!

The stay was fantastic. We celebrated our 25th anniversary, renting the property for just the two of us. Everything about our stay was excellent. The property was exactly as described, maybe even better in-person! The owners have thought of every detail and it shows. We enjoyed walks on the beach (almost always had the beach to ourselves), kayaking, and sitting outside under the pergola. Charlene (property manager) was excellent and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Tricia (owner) was great with communication and was incredibly helpful!

Latitude adjustment

Lovely property right on a beautiful walking beach. Very private and extremely well appointed. Kitchen was a chef’s delight, had everything from A to Z … even the knives were nice and sharp. You can’t go wrong with this amazing villa.. really can’t say enough. Charlene, our house manager catered to our every need.. timely, friendly and a nice sense of humor. House staff and grounds keepers were all extremely nice and welcoming. No complaints here, we didn’t even have sand flies!

Perfection

Aside from the breathtaking waters of Exuma, Latitude Adjustment was the highlight of our vacation. The house was comfortable and very clean and is stocked with everything you’d expect. The property feels secluded and yet the location was convenient for exploring the islands. But the best part was the view. We think the beach right outside rivals the top ones in Exuma. It’s so private that we were the only ones on it most days. We could’ve stayed at Latitude Adjustment for months and just watched the clear water turn every shade of blue imaginable. Thank you to Tricia for sharing your home and for all the help booking and planning, and to Charlene for a seamless checkin and checkout. We hope to return!

Perfection

Our stay at Latitude Adjustment was fabulous! The home is gorgeous and well appointed. The sheets and pillows were sheer bliss. The view from the dining/living area was stunning and never got old. We enjoyed the unbelievably gorgeous beach but had a few rough water days so the pool was used each day without fail. A special part to this listing is the house manager/ concierge, Charlene. I didn’t think we would use her services, but I was wrong. She answered any questions at anytime and hooked us up with a chef at spur of the moment to cook the fish some family caught, advice on service providers, etc. She was available and checked on us through What’s app. She made our trip easy. We would 100% stay again and hope to do so in the future. Communication with Tricia prior to our trip was also top notch! Thank you.

Pure Perfection

This was my husband and I's second time staying in the main house. We were lucky enough to visit twice in less than a year. Charlene, the house manager is amazingly sweet, helpful and reliant. Tricia, the owner is so generous and keeps in touch as well to be sure things are smooth with your stay and has done an immaculate job making sure the home has everything you could possibly need or want in a vacation rental home. Beds and linens are ultra comfy. Kitchen is well stocked with any and all kitchen necessities. The newly added cabana and walkway make it so you never want to leave this tranquil home and setting. Let alone visit any other beach on the island(However, you must, because they are each equally as beautiful in their own unique ways). Absolute gem! Honestly, the only thing I could suggest and I mean ONE and ONLY thing, would be to add a retractable clothes line outside on the deck to dry suits and towels. Other than that, it is pure perfection in every way and we truly cannot wait for our return visit in the near future. Many many thanks to Tricia, Charlene, grounds keepers and cleaning crew!!!!

This was not our first trip to Exuma, though it was our first time to stay on Great Exuma. We have previously stayed on the Tropic of Cancer (Little Exuma); the beach is exceptional, but it's quite a distance from everything... When we initially booked this property, we were looking forward to being more centrally located but weren't sure how it would compare to ToC beach-wise. All I can say is, "Wow!" The pictures do not do this place justice!! An entire side of the house is floor to ceiling windows of the most spectacular, breathtaking view! The beach is gorgeous and even more secluded than ToC!! (The entire stretch is more than 1.5 miles each way. Most days we saw no one else.) The home is pristine and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. (I especially loved the open rug area in front of the primary bedroom. With floor to ceiling windows, it was a perfect place to do yoga or pilates each morning!) The outdoor area is exceptional; almost resort-like. Equipped with comfortable chaise loungers, sofa seating...Sonos system...pool...It was the perfect place to have respite from an afternoon in the waves. (Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided for use on the beach; however, because I prefer a full chaise lounge, our property manager provided us with contact information to rent them for the duration of our time there. The chaises are delivered and we found the price to be reasonable. But, again, that's only necessary if you want a full chaise lounge.) Location-wise, the home couldn't me more ideal. It's only a few miles from all of the grocery stores and, literally <5 minutes from the airport. (We never heard planes, so that's not a problem at all. In fact, despite its location, we never heard any traffic.) Every part of our experience was perfect - from the information packet prior to arrival, all communications with the owner and property manager, the property itself... We've been traveling to the Caribbean for 15 years, and this was, by far, our most favorite property of all! I'm so grateful we found it. We will certainly be back!

Can’t get any better than this!

Where do I even start?! The pictures you see on the listing are amazing but still don’t even catch a glimpse of *just* how beautiful the entire property is in person! We love the location being so close to the airport and then a short drive to town. The house, inside and out, is beautifully decorated, immaculate, and CLEAN, like a deep clean, and I can’t say how much we appreciate that! The host has a full kitchen of baking dishes and cookware, a few of your everyday kitchen spices, dishes, silverware, insulated tumblers for you to use during your stay, a separate ice machine, and so much more! My husband and I brought our 11 month old and the property is extremely baby friendly too! The home has a high chair, a pack n play, washer and dryer (and laundry pods provided). You truly feel like you are HOME. The communication we had between the host and also with the home managers are courteous and prompt, with a genuine interest to see if you need anything and to make sure you are having the best time. And can we talk about how Jimmy Hill beach that the house sits on is a hidden gem and super, super private! We only ever saw 3 other people walking in the 6 days we were there. After 3 different trips and visiting multiple beaches during each stay, it is one of the prettiest beaches on Exuma, in our opinion! You definitely cannot go wrong renting this beautiful home and Latitude Adjustment has not seen the last of us!
