This VRBO is an excellent location in Wayzata MN... very walkable, and a couple of blocks up from Lake Minnetonka. Very open floor plan and accommodates guest easily with 1st floor bedrooms. A few tweaks would make this rental even better... kitchen cutlery provides only 4-6 people, bath towels are a bit limited and look worn, the living room sectional is showing its age and isn't very comfortable and the TV is a real let down. This TV is extremely cheap, very slow to respond to inputs, and doesn't work reliably... this seems like an easy fix and investment. With the cost per night for this property, some fairly minimal updates would make this from good to great.

Great location

This is a great location if you want to be close to shops, dining, and the lake. My family enjoyed the short walks to the beach and the town. And they especially enjoyed the screened in back porch!

Our 5 friends from different areas of the country have met together annually for the past 25 years in many different places throughout the U.S. We had a great time; loved our stay in this quaint home; fun town on Lake Minnetonka.

Great house in perfect location

Cannot beat the location and proximity to downtown Wayzata. The house was exactly as pictured- clean, with nice amount of space. Would definitely recommended this spot for those looking to stay in the area

Beautiful bungalow, well-maintained, comfortable beds, clean sheets, cozy, nice kitchen. Close to the lake, easy drive to main roads/freeways, accessible.

Great house in a great location

This is a really great spot with easy access to a lot of walkable destinations. The house has anything you'd need for a stay and the loft upstairs was a bonus for the kids. Access was easy on check-in and very easy on checkout. Would definitely book again if we were to stay in the area.

Fishing/Golf Trip

Came up to fish and golf for a birthday party. Location is amazing!!! We walked to amazing food every night. Property was just as described and upkept very well!!! Highly recommend!!!

Lake Minnetonka getaway

Great location. Walkable to lake front, shops, dining, and parks. Beds were very comfortable. Back porch was very pleasant in the mornings and evenings. We had plenty of room. My kids loved the upstairs space to play and have privacy. I had a different internet login when we arrived but the owner was quick to respond and provide accurate information.

Well rehabbed Wayzata home

The owners did a great job updating the house in a lovely section of Wayzata. Everything worked, new appliances were first rate. When we needed a little help it was available. A two minute walk to downtown. Suggestions: Add a "house book" to explain how things work. And definitely need cushions on chairs in dining area.

Great location. Great for groups.

We rented this property for 3 days in August for a group of 6 women for our annual girls’ weekend trip. The house accommodated all of us comfortably and was in a very nice area within walking distance of the main walking area of Wayzata. The furniture was all very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows new. It was also convenient to have a dishwasher and washer / dryer (if needed). We also appreciated the nice toilet paper and not the cheap hotel TP, although 4 rolls for 6 women for 3 nights was not enough…. A few recommendations / areas for improvement: 1) Leave the outdoor lights on. We didn’t arrive to the property until 10:30pm and it was pitch dark. We were using our phone flash lights to navigate the entrance. 2) Provide more toilet paper and paper towels Z 3) Put a window air conditioner in the loft. It got really warm at night. 4) Replace current towels with bigger towels that are white and can be bleached between guests. Current blu-ish towels are musty. 5) Have cleaning crew make sure they are cleaning everywhere. Dust bunnies under the beds and we even found some personal items from a previous guest. 6) The basement is very large and a great unexpected addition for large groups. The leather couches and games were also great. However, the basement is unfinished and there’s a random bonus shower in the middle of the room. Finish updating the basement.

Perfect Location!!!

We loved the back screened in porch and so did the babies. The wicker swivel rocking chair was perfect for feeding and napping. We were in town for a wedding but came a few days early. For those days, we walked everywhere: to breakfast, to dinner, to coffee, to ice cream. That is my idea of a perfect location!!!
