About this property

Villa Sonskyn was completely renovated at the end of 2017. Due to her absolutely idiosyncratic style she rightly claims the right to extravagance.

The bright, airy rooms and five bedrooms offer a lot of space.

Four bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds and fitted wardrobes. The fifth bedroom has a king size bed and a walk in closet.

Three of the four bathrooms have a bathtub in addition to the shower.

A guest toilet can be found on the ground floor.

The spacious dining room offers space for up to 10 people with its rustic wooden table.

A TV is located in the large living room, in addition to a Bluetooth music system.

The new designer kitchen with its high-quality equipment and generous work surfaces is the dream of every amateur cook and offers space for a quick snack on the stylish bar stools.

In the adjoining fully glazed room there is an indoor grill (braai), which invites you to barbecue in the African way. The modern, light dining table is perfect for enjoying the steak from the grill and lingering late into the night with a glass of South African wine.

To enjoy a beautiful view towards False Bay, there is a cozy lounge on the terrace.

In the upper floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, two nice, bright rooms, which, due to the floor to ceiling windows, a wonderful view of the False Bay release, which you can enjoy on comfortable furniture.

Your valuables can be safely accommodated in the in-house safe.

Several rooms of Villa Sonskyn are equipped with air conditioning and heating. However, the pleasant climate throughout the year will only allow you to use the romantic ceiling fans in different rooms.

The spacious pool invites you to refresh and swim. Sunbathers will feel comfortable on the six loungers. On the small, rustic swing you can relax under the palm trees and citrus trees and enjoy the tranquility.
In the evening, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking False Bay.

The garage is very spacious and can accommodate two cars. Additionally usable is a carport.

The house is located on a 1400 sqm large property, in a locals preferred, very safe residential area. In addition, the house is secured by an electric fence, an indoor and outdoor alarm system and an armed security service.

Tolles, modernes und sauberes Haus

Wir hatten einen Traumurlaub in diesem wunderschönen, großen, mit viel Platz für 8-10 Personen Haus. Pool, Garten und Innenbereich mit Braai laden zum Relaxen und schönen Grillabenden ein. Die moderne Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte reibungslos. Liebevoll eingerichtet und alles sehr funktional. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen zwei Wochen mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern (4 und 2 Jahre alt) in diesem wunderschönen Haus zu verbringen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es war sauber, alle notwendigen Gerätschaften von Toaster über Kaffeemaschine bis Waschmachine und Trockner waren vorhanden, sogar deutsches Fernsehen per Mediathek (Apple TV vorhanden) war möglich und Steckdosenadapter auf deutsche Stecker gab es auch. Der Internetzugang hat auch reibungslos per WLAN funktioniert, so dass man in Kontakt mit Freunden und Familie Zuahuse bleiben konnte. Für unsere Kinder war der mit Quellwasser gefüllte Pool das Highlight schlechthin. Gleich nach dem Aufstehen ging es erstmal ins Wasser und nach jeder Rückkehr von einem Ausflug nach Kapstadt oder in die Weinregion ebenso. Das Haus ist schön großräumig geschnitten, so dass man sich auch problemlos mal aus dem Weg gehen konnte. Dank des Elektrozauns, der Alarmanlage und der optionalen Außenüberwahung bei Nacht, fühlten wir uns zu jeder Zeit sicher in dem Haus. Natürlich haben wir anfangs auch aus Versehen den Alarm ausgelöst und binnen 5 Minuten kam auch prompt der Sicherheitsdienst, darauf ist Verlass! Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern vorab war sehr freunlich, zuvorkommend und vor allem mit schneller Reaktionszeit. Absolut super, vielen Dank nochmal dafür!!! Auch der Kontakt vor Ort (auch deutschsprachig) war klasse! Letzendlich kann ich dieses Domizil nur weiterempfehlen, es gibt nichts auszusetzen und wer weiß, vielleicht kommen wir nochmal wieder :)
