Recreational oasis in the Palatinate Forest

Our house is located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest, surrounded by predicate hiking trails, rocks and castles with great views.


Our house has two beautiful comfortable apartments, both of which have their own entrance. Total about 260qm living space on 3 floors UG (fitness room, Beamerzimmer) ground floor apartment with conservatory, floor apartment with 2 balconies

Ideal for large families, families with friends, family reunions, hiking groups ......

On the ground floor is a beautiful conservatory (south side) with a large table where you can sit together comfortably. The living room is as seen in the photos with comfortable seating and flat screen TV.

The first bedroom has a large double bed (180/200) and a spacious wardrobe.

In the 2. Bedrooms are 3 beds; 2 beds, one with pull-out bed. Also, there is a small cozy room with a couch that folds out and can also be used as a sleeping accommodation.

Alternatively, two guest mattresses (folded 1.40 m wide) as

Sleeping space to be used. Either one next to the sofa bed or in our "Beamerzimmer" in the basement.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge with freezer, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishes, pots, selection of spices .....

The table in the kitchen is expandable.

2015, the bathroom was newly renovated.

The upper apartment has about 80 square meters and 2 beautiful balconies, where you can have breakfast in the morning sun, and enjoy the evening sun in a deck chair. The living room is furnished with comfortable leather furniture, a comfortable leather lounger that could also be used as a bunk and flat screen TV. The kitchen is as on the ground floor also fully equipped.

The 1. Bedroom has a double bed (180/200) and a large wardrobe, the 2. Bedroom has 4 beds (2 beds both have a pull out bed).

The bathroom is also newly renovated, with large shower and mirror cabinet.

The garden is at your disposal. You can barbecue, play and relax.

Pedestrian area with shops. In the shoe city you have to buy the good quality of shoes from the factory.

Also interesting is a visit to the WAWI chocolate world in Pirmasens, with free guided tour through the "glass production" and subsequent purchase from the factory.

Beautiful hiking trails nearby (Lemberg Castle about 4 km), Lemberger bird trail and "Langmühler view".

Cycle paths (from Ruppertsweiler from the direct bike path to Lviv)

Nice bike path also to Wissembourg, France.

Very close to hiking trail to the "Ruppertstein" and many other trails around Ruppertsweiler, z. B. for Forsthaus Beckenhof (Palatine courts) in the Palatinate Forest with a large beer garden and children's playground or to Starkenbrunnen with Waldgaststätte. A country inn, also within walking distance, is nearby.

Hinterweidental in approx. 7 km play park with Teufelstisch (the most painted rocks in the Wasgau)

Zweibrücken with rose garden, state stud, racetrack, castle and shopping paradise "Style Outlet" - 25 km - largest outlet center in Germany with over 120 shops.

In Homburg are the Schloßberg caves and a Roman town.

In about 30 minutes you are in France by car, where you are directly behind the border z. B. in Walschbronn, Waldhouse or Roppeviller the Alsatian-Lorraine Flammenkuchen can enjoy.

Bitche - France (about 45 min. Travel time) Citadel which you can visit in the underground passages on audiovisual course (3 languages). Or shopping in French supermarkets and shops.

Dahn Rockland with swimming paradise and nationally known sauna worlds, castle Altdahn and Neudahn

and many other castles such as Gräfenstein in Merzalben with magnificent views, Berwartstein Castle - the most impressive rock castle of Wasgau, no ruin, but an intact facility in the high Ritternsaal Palatine specialties and wine can enjoy.
Very close to Lemberg Castle with castle information center and predicate hiking trail.

Furthermore, in the vicinity of the Drachenfels - one of the most beautiful rock castles in the Palatinate Forest, highly recommended are also the castle rock cliffs in Eppenbrunn.
