The Bob Creek Studio is a detached retreat, tucked beside a coastal creek, and across from the beach. Designed for days by the ocean, hikes in the Siuslaw National Forest, and easy drives to the coast’s iconic viewpoints, this isn’t your average studio. With vaulted ceilings, forest views, and thoughtfully chosen comforts, it feels like a private escape between adventures.
The Studio sleeps 4 and features a cozy queen bed on the main floor, with a sturdy ladder accessing a loft space above. With two twin beds, a smart TV and a large bean bag chair, the loft is a whimsical hideout beloved by children and adults alike. The Studio’s crown jewel is the spa bathroom with a 2-person deep soaking tub plus a walk-in shower with dual shower heads - ideal recovery after hiking, tidepooling, or beachcombing. The kitchenette provides a small dining table, convection microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate, mini-fridge, and a coffee and tea station for slow starts before heading out. Modern amenities include DSL Wi‑Fi, Smart TVs for movie nights, and a Toto bidet.
Best of all, Nature is at your door! On the property, enjoy the outdoor deck and direct creek access. Cross the road to Bob Creek Beach for morning air, sunset light, tidepools, and one of the coast’s best year-round agate hunting spots. Check out the Cummins Creek Wilderness trail and other Siuslaw National Forest trails—lush, mossy, and unforgettable. Spend your day at Cape Perpetua, Thor’s Well, and scenic overlooks, then return for a relaxing bath in your hideaway.
And for foodies, Yachats offers everything from dock-to-table seafood, wood fired pizza, and a BBQ food truck to artisanal bakeries and a third-wave coffee shop, all just 5 miles from your door.
Other things to note The Butterfly Sanctuary: We are doing our part to restore the natural habitat for one of Oregon’s most endangered species: the Silverspot Butterfly. Adjacent to the Studio is a meadow specially designed to house and feed these beautiful creatures during the summer months.
The Agate Hunter’s Advantage: Bob Creek Beach is one of the few spots where the "gravel" stays year-round, making it a prime spot for agate hunting even when other nearby beaches are sanded in.
The Marbled Murrelet Habitat: The property is on the Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve, home to the endangered Marbled Murrelet. These charming seabirds can be spotted bobbing on the waves at Bob Creek Beach, or flying overhead towards their nests in the old-growth forest.
PLEASE NOTE THESE KEY DETAILS: The Bob Creek Studio shares the property and a common driveway with a separate, completely detached “Bob Creek Cabin” behind it, which is also a SeaNik rental. The two rentals also have separate parking areas; 1 vehicle is permitted for The Bob Creek Studio.
The Bob Creek Studio, the Bob Creek Cabin each have dedicated VRBO listings.
There is no cell service at Bob Creek so plan to use WIFI calling and messaging.
Due to our rural location, DSL internet is provided as follows:
Typical Download Speed: 20 Mbps Typical Upload Speed: 1 Mbps Typical Latency: 15 ms Streaming and WIFI calls are usually fine, but heavy uploads (like automatic photo and video syncing to iCloud/Google Photos) can slow things down. If you notice lag, we recommend pausing your device auto-sync functions during your stay.
Lastly, we do not have a full kitchen, rather it is a kitchenette. There is no stove/oven but we do have a microwave, a toaster oven, and a single burner induction hot plate. Please use only the cookware provided for the hot plate.
THIS PROPERTY IS A NON PET RENTAL. THERE IS A $250 FINE FOR BRINGING A PET OF ANY KIND.
