Escape to this modern cabin beside a coastal creek and across from the beach! Whether you are here to find the perfect agate, hike the Siuslaw National Forest, or simply relax in nature, the Bob Creek Cabin is your sophisticated base camp. Architect-designed with an eye for aesthetic detail, this isn't just a "cabin in the woods"—it’s a sanctuary featuring pleasing indoor spaces, and lush outdoor settings including a private hot tub nestled under a spruce canopy.
The Cabin sleeps 4-6, with two private bedrooms, both featuring plush queen beds, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is one full bath with a shower and one half bath, both stocked with spa products and guest amenities.
Enjoy our Chef’s Kitchen, with a distant ocean view, fully outfitted with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee station, and every culinary tool needed for a coastal feast.
Gather in the Great Room - a space perfect for game nights, shuffleboard or cozying up to the Morso wood burning stove for a movie marathon. Best of all, Nature is at your door!
On the property, enjoy the hot tub, outdoor decks, direct creek access, and paths through the meadow. Cross the road to Bob Creek Beach for morning air, sunset light, tidepools, and one of the coast’s best year-round agate hunting spots. Check out the Cummins Creek Wilderness trail and other Siuslaw National Forest trails—lush, mossy, and unforgettable. Spend your day at Cape Perpetua, Thor’s Well, and scenic overlooks, then return for a warm relaxing hot tub under the stars.
And for foodies, Yachats offers everything from dock-to-table seafood, wood fired pizza, and a BBQ food truck to artisanal bakeries and a third-wave coffee shop, all just 5 miles from your door.
The Butterfly Sanctuary: We are doing our part to restore natural habitat for one of Oregon’s most endangered species: the Silverspot Butterfly. The front of the cabin is a meadow specially designed to house and feed these beautiful creatures during the summer months.
The Agate Hunter’s Advantage: Bob Creek Beach is one of the few spots where the "gravel" stays year-round, making it a prime spot for agate hunting even when other nearby beaches are sanded in.
The Marbled Murrelet Habitat: The property is on the Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve, home to the endangered Marbled Murrelet. These charming seabirds can be spotted bobbing on the waves at Bob Creek Beach, or flying overhead towards their nests in the old-growth forest.
PLEASE NOTE THESE KEY DETAILS:
The Bob Creek Cabin shares the property and a common driveway with a separate, completely detached “Bob Creek Studio” next to it, which is also a SeaNik rental. The Bob Creek Cabin and the Bob Creek Studio each have dedicated VRBO listings. The two rentals also have separate parking areas; 2 vehicles are permitted for The Bob Creek Cabin.
There is no cell service at Bob Creek so plan to use WIFI calling and messaging.
Due to our rural location, DSL internet is provided as follows:
Typical Download Speed: 20 Mbps
Typical Upload Speed: 1 Mbps
Typical Latency: 15 ms
Streaming and WIFI calls are usually fine, but heavy uploads (like automatic photo and video
syncing to iCloud/Google Photos) can slow things down. If you notice lag, we recommend
pausing your device auto-sync functions during your stay.
